Hello!

:wave2:

Had to read to catch up with you all..............Coming home at 8:30 everynight makes it hard to read everything..........(after dinner, making lunches, and dishes, etc......)

(tchrmom wonders how scubamom is dealing with this now) :confused3

Well, this is only the first week and it's a short one. No gym on Friday, even though we have to drive to Orlando to meet Sharon's family.

So far, it has been okay. She and Lisa have been getting home at 10:00 PM. Lisa has all her homework done in the car. Sharon is spending her time doing the same things she did before, Curves, bill paying, etc.

The only real difference so far has been the drive. It becomes more of a scheduling issue. Sharon makes all the lunches on Sunday, for the week so she is pretty creative about what can go into a lunch on Sunday and still be eaten on Thursday.

I cook extra everynight and pack that for her dinner the next night.

Only week one....we will see how it is at week 100.

It gets old fast!!!!!

I only hope that I never hear Kelly say something really stupid when she's 16 or so......something like "You guys never do anything for me"

Then, I'd have to kill her. :furious:

oh ang! do it it sounds like fun!!mama mia sounds great!it makes me a little sad knowing i will never have a sis and it makes me even sadder that my dd will be the same way....

me,too. We don't get through many days without our DD asking for a little sis. I try to get her to understand that being the only girl is pretty cool, especially since she is the only girl on both sides of the family. She's the princess:

I am sitting here, depressed. My kids got out 1/2 day today and started their Spring Break. They are out until Monday the 24th. Not me. I get Friday off. I want to be off too. Of course, I will be off work from May 19th on until we leave May 26 (the day the kids get out) for the CRUISE

I am sooo excited! Ok, now I am in a better mood! Thanks, you guys are the greatest. You made me feel better, and you didn't even have to say a word. Wow, what power you have. :stir:

Well, I guess the good part is that Sharon and I never have the chance to argue. I see her for 45 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night.

OH! I see romance "abounds" at your house too! :lmao:

DH has been going to work at 3:10 every morning...............so he's in bed by the time Kelly and I get home. :sad2: This is not the "norm" for him, but I think we're going on 3 weeks of this. I'm looking forward to the cruise, so i can see him in the daylight!

Diana! Do you really wanna give yourself nightmares from seeing me in my swimuit!>!>!>!>!>!:lmao:

Amanda, you do like I do. Wear a robe or something up to the deck, slip it off as you ease into the tub. Quickly, while no one is looking! That's why we're doing this when it's really late, and dark!

All the talk of CROCS yesterday I mus of had CROCS in my head...I went to Dillards and fell in love with a new color out, it is a teal blue and I HAD to have them! Also, they had the new ATHENS style (flip flops) and they were soooooo comfy so of course I had to have them as well!!!!!!
And Maria, I have never gotten a blister with CROCS and I do get"wet feet" as Mark put it! hehe! I am telling you girl, the most comfortable shoe!!!!!! I have worn almost nothing but since last April!

I'm going to have to go and try a pair on just to see what all the hoopla is about. Maybe I, too will fall in love with them.

Sherry........You KNOW we love our Crocs. I don't thinik you'll be sorry. Last summer, we were the ONLY ones in FL with them. However, you are starting to see them more and more. When Kelly and I went to CO for her meet in January, EVERYONE had them!

We're out of school on Friday and Monday.but I have jury duty on Monday. YUCK ( my first time ever!) I know it is my "duty"....I just wish it didn't fall on my day off.

OK........Time to do the "dreaded". Order a new bathing suit. If only I'd look like the chick wearing the suit in the catalog!!!!! :furious: I hate ordering a bathing suit!!!!! Who's with me?

Fran

Fran - I'm with you on that!!!! Unless you're a skinny minnie, buying a bathing suit is not a happy buying experience in my book.

I've got to get out of here for a little bit ... need to go fold & put away that load of laundry that has been sitting in the basket at the end of my bed since Mon. morning.

Ang

I know how that feels. That's when I need to get the iron out and start ironing.

So true!! I also hear that searching for that just right DIS green thong is VERY difficult!!! :rolleyes1

Oh, I know what I forgot to tell everyone. We got our Passports in the mail on Monday. Now we could travel the world and be able to get back home. Yeah!!!

I have a picture of a sunrise from last year's Mexican cruise. How do you post a picture on this forum?

Your picture has to be online somewhere to begin with. I use Photobucket for mine, some have their own websites.

Here's a sunrise in Cozumel last December:

The first time I saw Crocs was on Fran and company last summer. I hadn't seen them since til just a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps I've seen them and just haven't noticed :goodvibes Amanda, did your Dillards have the Croc Islander? I was at the mall again today so I tried them on. They were pretty comfortable. I didn't buy them 'cause I didn't like the color in my size. The clog style with the holes doesn't fit me - the one without does. It seems to hot though. I came home and was looking online at Keens and Crocs at REI. I saw the Nile style of Crocs that Mary and Amanda mentioned. I like that style. I may have to drive across town to check them out. I thought about those in black to go with my casual black skirt (I like that formal night idea too :teeth: ) I tried on another pair of Keens at the mall too. I'm liking those!

Kevin - that is one gorgeous picture!!!!!

Swimsuits - dread them! Perhaps that's why I'm obsessing over shoes - less time for swimsuits!

Nite everyone,
Sherry

Hi!

This will be my 3rd Disney Cruise. The first one was when I was 13...now I'm 29 and taking my 4 year old!!! I went 4 years ago when I was pregnant and we took a 4 day cruise. It was fun, but my husband was sick most of the time! He says he wants to try it again though, so we have to get some strong seasick meds or something to keep him well.

Eight of us are going on the May 27th cruise. My mom and dad, who are renewing their vows on the ship  ...my sister and her husband, my 16 year old brother...and my husband, my 4 year old son, and ME! We are all so excited...we have been planning, shopping, and dieting like crazy!!! :bounce:

Since I found this board a few days ago, I have learned so many things about DCL and some great tips. Just wanted to introduce myself and say HI to all you guys we are cruising with!!! :)

Michelle princess:

Well, it's 4 am and I'm up roaming "the ship" in my PJs. Where is everyone who wanted to join for early morning coffee? :lmao:

Guess I'll just have to start calling rooms to get people up. :rotfl:

Good Morning Jim- checking the forecast for diving this weekend...Today was 5-11 foot seas....11 feet - no way!!!!!!!!

Pass me some coffee please....
