Yes -- I am just trying to figure out how to get 5 or 6 bottles of wine with us. That is why I was thinking about Maria's rolling ice chest. It is tall (the one I have is shorter and fatter) This way I could have one rolling ice chest for wine and the other for water, juices & Soda. What do you think? I have no idea how to pack wine.

I might have missed it if some of this has been covered already.

You have already written a description, but, if you're planning on checking thru that's one thing, but they won't let you carry(or roll) anything that isn't a collapsible cooler on, and no ice whatsoever, in either carryon or checked. It has to be able to fit thru an airport size scanner.

Also, soda onboard is free now, they have a food court level drink station on Deck 9 that serves soda(coke products), lemonade, Hi-C fruit punch, and coffee, tea and milk, and double filtered water and ice, might have missed a beverage or two in there. We usually bring a few wide mouth sport bottles and just fill up on ice and water up there.

The family agrees that Rock In Roller Coaster is better. It's not worth buying a day pass for, but still it is pretty cool. Disney does a great job themeing a ride. I liked it which means it is not a scary roller coaster, more like Thunder Mountain. Not Bush Gardens or Cedar Point.

We got there when it opens and walked right on after getting fast passes. They rode it again after coming out the first time, I read a book. We came back at 12N and it was a 90 minute wait, FP were for 4 PM.

Worth it, Yes. Cool ride, Yes. Buy a ticket for it, No.

Thanks Jim, I'm now much more looking forward to this ride, can't do RnR, it's just too much for me.

Sue

We don't have a pix of Matt's Military Ball. I was not allowed to take any pictures or even meet his date. Can't think of why not. :confused3

Lisa's ball is coming up and I know she will allow pictures.

No -- no rain here. The temperature dropped about 20 degrees late this afternoon and we have a lot of wind and dust. Allergies have really flared up this weekend with the change in weather. My mom and dad are here from Austin and I guess it has really been raining there too.

No rain here - It looked like it would all week - allergies are horrible!

Do you play by the mean rules? My sister taught my parents, my parents taught us. Not until years later did we READ the rules where you can't have more than one of the same color in a grouping....

Nope... never learned THAT mean rule...

Funny thing is, we have never taught our kids to play... it's always been a 'sit out by the pool with a drink after the kids are in bed' pasttime...

QUOTE=tinksdad]I always thought it was a contest to see whos nose is the coldest....... :rolleyes1
:lmao:
QUOTE=scuba diver]We've missed you.

It's time to get together and have a PO mini-meet.
Definitely. My schedule is CRAZY between now and the cruise - but we'll work something out!

How was Everest? We are either hitting AK or MGM on 4/8. Oh wait... I just read this...

You mean to tell me you HAVEN'T tried Shiekra- the world's tallest dive coaster... or did it scare you? :stir:

(My favorite coaster is still Kraaken at Sea World.)... I'm sure we'll get over to EE before our AP's expire on 5/1.

That is the exact one I bought 2 years ago and paid full price for, we use it for DS baseball when it's our snack and when we go on the boat to schlepp drinks.
This made me laugh... cause I'm the only mom in football and cheerleading who shows up with a rolling Budweiser cooler full of Gatorade... (yes, THAT rolling cooler WILL be making the Double Scoop voyage!)

Lots more prayers headed your way!

Well, that's it for catching up for me today... at least today I'm back to work... that means I can actually catch up once in awhile and not log on to find 72 more pages!!!!

Whew! I'm FINALLY caught up.

Let's see ... include DH in the group of DIS husbands ... include me in the games of Go Fish! as I've never heard of any of the others.

Garry ... lots of prayers for you this morning!!!

Hope everyone has a good Mon. We'll be getting the wet stuff today. We didn't get any yesterday ... but it looks like ATL Motor Speedway did.

Jim, I didn't respond to your Flower Gardens question.

I'd be up for that. Gotta pick a time that we could sneak off and dive. Maybe when the coral are spawning?

I have a question. How come we stopped the Teen and Tween group?:confused3 I mean I thought that a lot of people or kids were on there.

Hi Lisa - it wasn't stopped just not a lot of activity. I gave it a bump for you.

Teens and tweens (and parents of same) now would be a great time to start posting again. With 10 weeks left it will be fun getting to know each other and may plans for the lab and the stack.

garRy, our prayers are with you today. Beautiful pics of Alicia. The weatherman is predicting 5-8 inches of snow for our first day of spring. What's up with that? I'm just hoping that there won't be a snow day tomorrow.

Well, Lisa, I can speak for Caleb. I asked him why he doesn't post there, and he's basically too lazy to sit and type. He even dictates his e-mail responses to me to type for him  .

Lisa,
I'll see if I can get KT posting on the DIS. She has a screen name now.... *KT* .....so maybe she'll be interested if she knows you're posting over there. :)

This is a good time for me to get Elizabeth posting, too. It's spring break week, so she doesn't have any homework... I'll help her get started tonight.

Lisa is working in my office today, running the copy machine. If she gets her jobs done I'll have her post.
