I had dinner with Mike, the neighbor tonight. He made reservations for the Chief table at V&A for us in October. :cool1:

This is during his golf tournament and Food & Wine. We should get some good weekends out of this.

Braver than I am to make V/A during food and wine - we would nver have extra room in our tummies.......this year our goal is 3 visits. and no hurricanes, to ruin trips.....hum perhaps I should pick out weekends - have they been posted yet?

Hello. My family is on this cruise also. DW, DH, DS (17), DD (10)

Does anyone know if you can book the teen excursion in advance? I can't find it on the reservations.

Has anyone answered this yet? Are you a repeat cruiser? If not, your posting will not show up yet? If you are a repeat cruiser, I saw the teen excursion (for CC) when I was booking?????

Not much to catch up on last night - you guys must "HAVE A LIFE" - and kids wtih activities, and stuff to do, like shopping and getting taxes ready and maybe - I don't know - laundry? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Welcome to the DIS and this great cruise group! If you want to meet everyone and catch up on all we've been talking about click on the 5/27 link in my signature. If you want to add your family info just drop me an e-mail at marygums@monorailgreen.info.

You should be able to book the teen excursions in advance. Are you already in your booking window (105 days for concierge, 90 days for repeat cruisers) or are you a first time cruiser (who books 75 days out)? If you are already in your booking window it might be that they are sold out. I've heard they still keep some open for once people get on the ship. Hopefully those who teens will chime and and give you more info.

Good morning cruisers!

OK, LOOKS LIKE MOVING TO ATL BACK ON!!so, those of you, help me with what you think are considered the better places to live and schools, etc!!! Help! :yay: :hourglass

My DH will work right around Crown Point Parkway, Atlanta area

YAY!!!! Glad to hear this will work out for you (but then I had the feeling it would!!)

Where to live? Your husband will be working by the "top end Perimeter" - that's I-285 and there are fabulous, wonderful places to live nearby. :yay: It depends what kind of $$$$ you want to spend. My advice would be to locate a realtor who's an Atlanta relocation specialist - they'll have all sorts of "statistics" at their fingertips, plus first hand advice since they know the area inside and out. Just off the top of my head, great locations would include Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Duluth, Roswell, Marietta. These are all considered "north metro". I know there are lots of wonderful communities on the south side, but I'm not familiar with them - plus, if your husband will work on the top end, life will be easier if you live on the north side (IMO!!).

Again, congratulations and :welcome: TO ATLANTA!!!! :woohoo:

Take out the line breaks between each of the three lines so they are all on one line across the top. OR Leave the line breaks in but then move the picture down one more line.

It looks like the picture is on the same line as your last line of copy and it making the line big enough to handle it.

Yeah - a top with Irene and her new signature!

Good morning all! Another day closer to cruise time. And another day closer to ressie day for us first timers. :goodvibes

Irene, I love your new pic in your siggie!

Disney_Fans, Laura had some good advice. I'll PM you a link to the Fulton County school website. You can look at test scores, etc. there. We live in N. Fulton County and there are some good school in our area. I think the first thing you'll need to decide is how long of a commute your DH (and you, if you work) want. Traffic around the top end perimeter can get pretty nasty. Just let us know if you want more info. I'm sure Julia, Laura & I can help you out.

The only way you can have the pic is either before or after the text; not to the right of it without that big gap in the lines of text. The board considers it being on the line with the text and will expand the line to match the height of the pic.

Good morning everyone,

OK, hubby had his meniscus surgery and everything went well. He's hobbling around but not in pain. Thank goodness. Really nice doctor. Apparently, very good too. He will be home for the rest of the week with me. Don't know if I'm happy or sad about that ;) . I brought my laptop to the hospital but they didn't have WiFi. I couldn't DIS...oh well.

Not too many pages to get could up on. Where was everyone yesterday?
