No, no, no ... I am winning that home. It's going to be great "little" :lmao: weekend vacation home for us ... just a 3 or so hour drive. When are they giving it away?

Ang

The winner is announced April 29th but sometime in March the final 3 will be announced. How about we both make that cut as the 2 "losers" will walk away with enough cash for several cruises :cool1:

Mary, that is a gret idea. We all should have them on our doors.

Stacey, get to work and start printing. You bring them and I'll have Lisa put them on all our doors!! :rotfl:

Lisa can put them on the doors, and then Matt will come along behind and put them on the ceiling!

WDWLVR said:
Yeah because if you give the job to Matt they will all be on the ceiling!

Great minds.....;)

What's the easiest way for me to share that with you guys? Do you have any idea how much 40 of those would weigh in a suitcase???

I KNEW you didn't meet at work....and I thought it was at a convention of some sort. Somehow, I was thinking Star Wars. Sorry. :guilty:

We met in Feb. 1999, started dating is August 1999, got engaged in March 2000 (16 years ago yesterday) and married in October 2000.

Did I miss something? :rotfl2: I did sleep in a little this morning :rotfl2:

Steve...the Passporter rates the Glass Bottom boat kind of poorly. I guess the visibility through the glass isn't all that great...unless they have a new boat. And it says that it can be crowded, but what excursion isn't crowded??

For the technologically challenged....you can right click on the Scoopie sign, and Save Picture As.....into your own My Pictures. And then it can be printed from there.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Also....if there is a better way of doing it, Mary or Mark ....let me know...I'll gladly share.

Thanks for the replies Kevin, Mary and Sandi. From your comments, and after searching the main board for “glass bottom boat” posts, it seems that most reviews have been negative. Maybe we’ll try something else, since we can’t scuba, snorkel or swim very well. My DW did a dolphin encounter once before and liked it, but our DD5 is too young to try it on this cruise. More suggestions are welcome.

BTW, can someone tell me where the signature line “Il pochi il fiero i blabbermouths” came from and what it means? I’m sure it's back around post #698 or something <g>, but I must have missed it :goodvibes.

Wow, looks like I'm a "top". Cool. :simba:

We were talking last night about before we went on the Christmas cruise in '04, we had told about how we had met our spouse. It was fun.

So now we're telling the stories. It's fun to hear how people met.

Actually, the best thing to do at Castaway Cay is NOTHING! Just enjoy the beach, rent the floats, have pictures taken with the characters......they have a spot near where the DJ plays music that you can have the pics taken. Even though Serenity Bay is "Adults Only" you can still take the family for the ride on the Tram out there to see it, and back again. There are games to play at Castaway Jo's......

Il Pochi, etc......."The few, the proud, the Blabbermouths"!

Maria... I have a couple of different programs that I've installed to work with my pictures and to make posters and such. It takes some learning, but if I can figure it out, anyone can.

And...by the way....the best doctor is an overweight doctor, that way they can't yell at you about your weight!

Where do you get the magnetic paper for the door signs? I'm sure I read a long time ago on the main thread but don't remember.

Ooh, ooh, can we play "How I met my Honey" again?

The short version is we met in a pub in England. It was called Crosses Corner and as a parting gift they gave us the pub sign which is hanging in our backyard.

The slightly longer although still abbreviated version is that while I was on an expat assignment in England a friend decided that I needed to find a man and it became his mission to do so. This was in spite of the fact that I was very happy in my early 30s but my friend was commited to the task.

The first guy he set me up with was 19 (remember I was early 30's). I nicely said I was looking for someone a little more mature. The second guy he introduced was 60+. At this point I told my friend really, no thank you, I am fine on my own. A few days later he insisted I come to the local pub to meet this guy. My DH is 2 years younger but it really was love at first sight

So, is there a dance area for the kids near the DJ? On our first family trip to WDW, Emily was not quite 2. We spent a long time one afternoon at DTD just letting her dance on the stage where the DJ was playing music. It was a very memorable moment for Bruce & I. I'm sure she has NO recollection.

Office Max....or one of those type of places. Target doesn't usually carry it.

It is set up in a gazebo area, and yes..the girls gather around and dance. Even some of the older girls, because most are crazy about the DJ.
Somewhere I have a picture of Jordan, when she was 11, dancing there.

Wal*mart, Staples, places like that.

After destroying many sheets of the "off brand" magnetic paper I bought a ton of b/c it was cheap, I switched to Avery brand and it worked PERFECTLY every time!
So my advice...buy Avery from the get go even if it's going to cost a bit more. You'll waste a lot less.

And always do a "practice print" with plain paper. Something I've always done. Except last night when I was tired. Wasted one magnetic sheet, just to find out my color ink is low!

KikiKaren,

Did you get Scoopie yet?

Angie

He made it as far as the Port Orange Post Office... they wouldn't leave him at my door because he had postage due... my mother will pick him up there today when she is out...
