Also if you note on CruiseCAL the May 26th is the only cruise they show the Magic going to Cozumel until June 28th.

It is interesting to note that ALL of the Magic stops at Cozumel until until 11/30 are double dip cruises. And according to cruisecal...all the regular western cruises through the rest of the year are scheduled to go to Costa Maya...hmmmmmmmmmmm

My take on it is that for the regular Westerns they have an easy alternate in Costa Maya so that is why those are switched. For ours they could still be working out if we go to Cozumel or if we go somewhere else. Plus if we go somewhere else where will it be.

I'm willing to be flexible and go with the flow. Though I really would love to see us go to Grand Cayman. :)

Which would be another double dip cruise, wouldn't it? Aren't they every 4 weeks?

Which bodes well that we're going there. Maybe the regular Westerns aren't, but we are. And if we get there early, we'll have first pick at tenders. :)

Getting BACK on the ship may be a hassle though.

Yea....It could be. 2 of the other ships leave 1/2 hour before we do...but I think most people will probably be back on well before we leave since it isn't until 10:30 PM. :)

I'm DEFINATELY with you on that Mary...and I can speak for Lisa and Kelly too :) :)

We will probably need to plan lots of time to tender back to the ship, with the Carnival ships all leaving around the same time. Especially if, say, we wanted to get back for late dinner seating.

Yep, Diving is fine!

But, we must back on board for dinner!!

Cool!! A TOP!!

So if folks don't come back early they may miss the beginning of the 'Pirate' party. If I remember right, the party started at @ 9 and the fireworks weren't until 11ish, yawn.....

Watching Pirates in the Caribbean on the Dumbotron after the party was so, so, cool!

I can't believe our kids don't get off for President's Day. Hubby is the only one off tomorrow (government employee) Both the kids and I have to go to school/work. Do most other school districts observe President's Day??

Our spring break is early this year too - March 13-17. Unfortunately, This is the year that I have to work, so no plans for us.

My kids were off today and Friday so they had a good long weekend.
DD does have Jazz tonight.

Pam,

Tori would have had tomorrow off, but Georgia had a "2 day fuel emergency" after the hurricanes. Gov'na Purdue (that's the southern pronounciation!) had Georgia public schools close for 2 days - saved millions of gallons of diesel fuel by not running school buses; but, those 2 days had to be made up so no holiday for us tomorrow!

Gosh, that does seem really early for Spring Break. Our's is 1st week in April.

Which Port Orleans are you going to? I've stayed at both solo. You'll enjoy either! :goodvibes

We are in Fulton and I have not heard anything about making up those days, hope they don't plan to tack it on in May!!

Julia, I'm sure you would have heard by now if the days needed "making up". Fulton probably had more flexibility built into their school calendar than Gwinnett. We knew as we were having those *emergency fuel days* that we were losing days off on Feb 20 and March 13. No worries!

I think most of the 'flow' are for GC, now if DCL would only go with our flow!! :rotfl2:

I'm definatly not worried, we are taking them out the Friday before the cruise as we have a Batmitzvah in Weston Florida and then planning on leaving early the Friday of the cruise to drive down.

Okay, I'm off to walk and hopefully get rid of the Migraine I feel coming on, was up early this AM and couldn't sleep last night so hopefully this will help. :crazy2:
