I agree. "Hell" was kind of cheesy, but we loved the Turtle Farm!

I thought 'Hell' was funny, I really expected more than that, it was a small area and then we mailed some PC home, also enjoyed 7 mile beach.

o.k. so WHY and WHAT possessed you to jump out of a perfectly good airplane that was going to land anyway.... :confused3

(finally decided that I was close enough to the catching up I could post - the boards were moving soooo slow, I didn't want to keep waiting just to go back to where I posted....)

Virgil taught me this trick....

When you go to post, RIGHT click on quote....
then choose "open link in a new window"

It will...
you post.

When it posts, close that window, and your ORIGINAL window will still be there!!!

VOILA!

In fact, if the boards are slow, I don't even wait for my post to post...I just click back on the original window and keep reading. Then when I accumulate 6 open windows, I go back and close them (making sure they all went through and didn't give me an error 40 second thing)

HTH!

I think I enjoyed Stingray city as it amazed me being our in the middle of the ocean and having them swim around, eat out your hand, very different to being in a controlled environment where they are an exhibit.

WAAA WAAAA....no one ever answered my question....
Do I have to SNORKEL or in any other way put my face underwater to enjoy Stingray City?

Pretty clever. I like it and will use it from now on. Thanks Virgil and OM.

Ohiomommie... sorry dahling. I hope your puppy isn't making you as tired now. :)

Oh, someone....help me....help!!!! I'm laughing so hard my gut hurts. I just fell off the chair and I think broke a leg. I've fallen and can't get up.

No, the puppy isn't making me tired anymore. I'm sleeping much better and no longer have abdominal cramping and panic attacks. The dominant, evil puppy from you know where went back to the breeder nearly 11 months ago.

I can't take anything like benadryl/etc. Everything like that works OPPOSITE for me- makes me hyper hyper. :confused3 in the past I have tried sleeping "helpers" (even some by prescription)-none ever helped. :confused3

Ever try Banfi? Works for me!

And finding it hard to believe we weren't the #1 thread already. you mean some other thread is as hopping as this one?!?!???!!!!

Well, you must keep in mind that we had been chatting for over a YEAR before you came. You ARE definitely helping us boost our numbers though. :)

The SECOND chattiest thread contained MANY of the people you see right here. A good number of us have cruised together before. They are like my family. With the biggest difference being that this is a MUCH more functional family unit than my REAL one....

But of course, there is ALWAYS ONE in every family, eh?

****Cruise question****

We will have a rental car when we are in Florida before the cruise and are staying at the Radisson. Would you return the car on Friday night and take the shuttle to the port? Or, would you keep the car until Saturday morning, drop off luggage and/or family at port and return car and then take Budget car rental shuttle back to port? Suggestions from my wise friends here.

Wait, are you talking about DIS characters or Disney Characters? :lmao:

Well, maybe those of us who think stingrays are cute can get a group together, eh?

Has it really been almost a year? Just glad I don't have to do a double take anymore to make sure you are posting about your EVIL psycho Maggie and not my darling sweet wonderful Maggie...(Now when Maggie is a teenager - I might be talking about psycho Maggie if she inherits her mother's hormones :lmao: )

I'm helping our DD5 make heart-shaped meatloaf and heart-shaped jello on clouds of Cool Whip for dinner. I'm trying to figure out how this meal covers all the major food groups.

I can help here....I can justify nearly any food.

meatloaf...
there's the meat group....and since it's a "loaf" that covers grains too.
jello....is it fruit flavored? cherry? strawberry? lime? if so, that covers the fruit group
cool whip is a diary product.

HTH!

This is probably a major blunder, but we didn't go to the Character Breakfast on our Eastern cruise because it was our first morning on the ship and the time change really got to us.

Is the cruise Character Breakfast a lot more fun than breakfasts at the park? Maybe we should plan on going this time.

no. to me the characters seemed much more rushed.
also, the menu...well, it's the same menu you get on disembarkation day. plated meals, not much variety. i'm guessing we'll skip it this time unless the kids REALLY want to go.

add fiber or grains with either the crackers or breadcrumbs to bind it... slather catsup on it and then you've got your veggie (or is it a fruit) dad always added an egg - also dairy...

You crack me up!!!

thank you, thank you, thank you very much. i'll be here all week :lmao:

this is where the "open in a new window" thing doesn't work. I have TWO windows that won't send b/c of the 40 second rule...

waiting....waiting....

TOP!!!

I would put the character experience and length of time on par with Crystal Palace - make sure your kids sit on the aisle side of the table - so, they can interact a bit more with the characters as they come to the table...

I have a feeling we'll go - the kids are still talking about how Goofy signed Maggie's book behind his head...

I ordered the Mickey Waffles from the kids menu  - hashbrowns are Cysco food service McDonald's style hashbrown patties... :sad2:

Yup, I've been to hell and back. We did an island tour, and BY FAR the most entertaining thing was the woman who was miserable on our tour and she was bound and determined to make everyone else so. If you're going to be that miserable on vacation, why not stay home? Could it be any worse there? Anyway, she chewed out a mom with a 2 yr old b/c her baby was fussy....and he had every right to be there. The mean woman said it was for "3 and above" but actually the information said that only those 3 and above had to pay. Anyway, it got so bad the lady with the baby was crying, at the next stop she got her stroller off the shuttle and WALKED back to the ship. Musta been 3 or 4 miles at that point. In the heat. Meanwhile, the dad and other two kids HAD NO CAMERA....so we took pictures of them all over GC so we could email them memories of their trip.

Btw, I was talking to the dad something about how excited I was for "lobster night" as this was our first 7 day....and mean lady said, in a snooty voice "well, it's just lobster tail, it's not like they are serving lobster thermadore or anything....."

Well, Mike and I celebrated Valentine's day....

We took down the Christmas tree :lmao: :lmao:
