Good Morning All -
Our latest cruise on Magic included DM, Jeanne - 86, sister Liz aka CodyJ - 53, friend Ray - 53. We got to the port at @ 10:30am. Dropped DM and Ray with our bags and parked in the lot next to the ship. Bags were taken right away and we headed into the terminal. Took a few minutes to get through security and wait for the elevator. Our wait in line to check in was @ 20 minutes. We didn't get a number cause we took the elevator, numbers passed out at the escalator. Didn't matter since we have the wheel chair. We were directed to the seating area between the cafe/kids checkin and the entranceway to the ship. At around noon we started to board. We boarded with the concierge folks and headed directly to Parrot Cay. Must say it was like going home. Lunch was delightful, as always. The soup is now chilled mango and orange. Liz says is almost as good and the mango soup. After lunch left Jeanne in the Promenade Lounge and went to the spa for a tour. Ray booked hot stone massage, and all of us booked head massage, Liz and I booked pedicures. (Thought of Jim as we went through the rainforest). Back to get Mom and then to our cabin, 7138. Port side, aft, next to the small observation deck. Very nice and clean. Easy to get the wc in and stowed. Bags already there so we got settled. Deck 10 at 3pm for a Dis meet. Put faces on many screen names. Then the boat drill, then the sail away, then dinner. After dinner we walked deck 4, enjoying life. Missed the welcome aboard show and went to the cabin.
