Yes, that is my teachers name. I think she is more into dance than sports. She always works her schedule around the Nutcracker Ballet Performances in December. Fortunately, she did not pick any of my Sunday Gymnastic Meet dates for Cotillion.
I'm not surprised... her husband is the music director at our church... definitely not the SuperBowl/Daytona 500 type...

Yes. I'm having a momosa right now to get all geared up for my big event today.

Aw c'mon... it's QUALITY time with your darling daughter!!!

Superbowl party also today - babysitter is coming to our house - 6 kids are "partying" at our house while the adults are at another...kids menu - pizza...

grown-up menu - (John's in charge of appetizer and dessert )

appetizer - crackerbread roll-ups (crackerbread rolled with cream cheese, fresh basil, oregano, ham, and red pepper)

main course - gumbo

dessert - cream puffs

Starting healthy because we sure aren't finishing healthy! yum!!!

I helped Elizabeth to be a Movie Star for Halloween... once I was done helping her get ready, I was almost sorry I did... all the boys were waiting out on the porch for her... and here's what she looked like... scary for an 11-year old!!!!

I think you're in for big trouble in a couple of years!!

Good Morning/Afternoon....

CONGRATS MATT AND LISA!!

No way could I have done it quite as well as you guys did this morning.

Congratulations to Lisa and Matt! They know when to poke their heads in, don't they? Or maybe a little bird told them.

Love the cute kid pictures & pretty young lady pictures. Kiki, Elizabeth's picture just made me think about the actress in Paper Moon (not Tatum), the one that was talking about "bone structure". Madeline???

Sorry I wasn't around to help with the posts. Movie night, we watched two. "In Her Shoes" was kind of OK.

I don't think they have a couple of years left (HA HA). I guess those of you with the older teen daughters had better share any advice you have to those of us with pre-teen daughters who think they are older teens!!!! Jim says he will be fine in a few years when Lisa starts dating - I have my sincere doubts about that. Maybe that is why is being so supportive of my taking Lisa to Longwood (45 minuites away) for gymnastics starting this spring for 5 nights a week. I will definetly being taking her out of the social scene for the time being since we will go directly from school to gym each night.

If only I could find a way to get my laundry and cleaning done while sitting in the mall each afternon! :rotfl2:

THEN, life would be good!

A quiz.....

When patients sign up to be seen they write their complaint on a sheet of paper that says "Why are you here today?"

Recently, these were the sign in complaints.....

1. D.Tocks

2. Pysco

It's been that kind of day........

. I swear, I'm losing my mind.

Well, if you find yours, could you look for mine? I think they may be hanging out together!

I told Mike he missed 16 pages, and then went to bed. I got up this morning and found out in 12 hours I had missed NINE pages!! When I told him that he rolled his eyes. I don't think he'll keep up!

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I don't know how you do it......I would think I'd need detox and be psycho if I had to deal with that day after day. The good news is that there are two less freaks on the streets at that time.

You've already got it. About the only thing you can do, is keep them involved in things....other than boys and parties. Not that there won't be boys and parties...but if they are focused on something else that they enjoy too, they're more likely to stay on the straight and narrow.

Meeting boys at the door with a shotgun in your hands helps, too. ;)
You just pretend that you're cleaning it. ::yes::
