Sorry about the counters guys - they looked good. :confused3

And the Signiture is edited....I'll replace the ticker when I am back from the Eastern Cruise.

I sure hope Stacey is having a grand time. I missed all her pre-cruise warm up...pity - I can use some pointers so.....

Please help me with any hints of what to do before or during the cruise. I have some posts to make up for (let's see - down for 7 days - at 4 posts a day - that's 28 posts.......)

What is your BEST Pre-Cruise HINT - What to pack or not pack, to remember to do at home, to do on the way to the Port - ANYTHING is WELCOME.

Thank's folks....off the feed the cats - they have sure been strange these last days....they hate their yard all torn up...me too :(

Good Morning All -

The hanging shoe holder is purchased - Actually, a slightly smaller version as there are only two of us - a hanging jewerly type holder for cosmetics, glasses, toothbrush etc.

But suction hooks???? Pray tell, for what?????

Laundry - I am doing laundry :cheer2: And I am not doing laundry in the bathtub any more --- wheee......(small things DO make a difference!!!)

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning everyone!

Milestone day for me today ... I was able to get in the shower and get cleaned up all by myself. Bruce has been giving me a shower since I've been home. I still need help drying off but at least it's progress.

Bruce took the girls out last night. Emily was Pocahontas & Ashley was Princess Aurora. They were so excited. They actually made it through our whole neighborhood which shocked me. We only have 27 homes but we're on acre lots so it's a long walk. We only had MAYBE 10 trick-or-treaters at our door. That's the norm for us. There aren't a lot of kids in our neighborhood and I guess others don't want to venture in since the houses are so far apart.

Suction hooks for hanging wet swim suits in the bathroom...

John stopped complaining about my DIS time after our last cruise when he discovered I do get useful information from my time on the boards...He complained about having to pack extra stuff but, found both very useful...

We had a good time spending the evening with friends at dinner and then a movie. It rained all night, so the kids were thankful they had alternative plans. They didn't even miss trick-or-treating. They were too excited about spending the time with their best buds on a school night - which is rare for both our families.

Maggie brought home pumpkin seeds from school...I do have to admit, with that reminder, I did miss carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds this year. (Didn't miss the mess all over the kitchen... :rotfl: )John always carved elaborate pumpkins. I know he didn't miss the time spent on them; it was always fun to see how they turned out and hear the reactions from trick-or-treaters.

Good Morning all!!

Since I missed the "non-event" of reaching the 19K milestone. A TOP looks good now!! pirate:

reading more throught the "live from" threads...Irene, you were right, boarding categories do start by category for the upper levels then by arrival time...

The boarding process works firstly by stateroom category, and I believe also to some extent arrival time at the port. All concierge guests get boarding pass #1, and so on down the line.

Sharon is NOT going to like this................ :earseek:

Jim, looks like we can get another cup of coffee in the morning before boarding. Apparently being first in line means nothing now!! :rolleyes1

It will be interesting to watch how she handles this. I don't know if I want to be standing next to her.

I'm not exactly thrilled with it already. One of the main reasons I won't go Southwest is the whole 'group' thing. Was going to mention it somewhere along here.

Thing is, I've read 5 different descriptions of how it works and they all conflict each other. I think at this point DCL is still trying to find a way that it does work fairly, if they even can make it work. We just have to wait and see what they finally do come up with.

I honestly think that the only part category plays in it is that cats 1, 2 & 3 get boarding group #1. They have always done that. You may be first in line but concierge (cats 1, 2, 3) and those with disabiities always get to board before the line is openend.

I think the other numbers are based on when you get to the port not what category you are in. So if two families come up the escalator at the same time and one is in a cat 4 and one is in a cat 12 I think they would get the same boarding number. Of course I could be wrong on this, but that's how I took it.

Having done the SW thing in the past I'm not a fan of it, but if DCL does keep this I hope they at least find a way like SW has to group the people waiting. Overhead signs saying 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. The one problem I've heard about so far is that someone may be sitting down when an early group (say 2 or 3) is called but they have to wind their way through people standing near the front with numbers 6, 7, or 8.

One thing I am confident about is that by May DCL will have either eliminated it or have it running smoothly. Bottom line go with the flow!

I've been fairly impressed with with the way Disney handles most crowd situations. You're right about going with the flow! Don't let the little stuff chap ya! This is OUR vacation, RIGHT??
I'm having fun!!
