Thanks for the reminder... it's time to watch the antics of the Griswold family once again!!! Watch out for the crunchies in the Jell-o mold!

Love that movie! I watch it every year as a reminder on why we don't get together with our family for the holidays!

So what are the options if we don't go to Cozumel?

I would be surprised if they passed up Coz in May. They will have to tender, but it is a very popular port. There is much more to do there then Belize, even though I would rather go to Belize.

Coz will not be pretty, but it will be running. It is running now, just don't do the island tour unless you want to spend your day looking at hurricane damage.

Even more reason to scuba dive, eh?

And we can see that here... just head beachside... even a year later!!!

I'll take "Christmas Vacation" over "It's A Wonderful Life" anyday... it sure is a whole lot more fitting!!! My family all gets along, but the whole 'Christmas preparation' that Clark goes through is what gets me!!!! Now THAT hits close to home!!!!

Well, we got the bad news tonight. Matt had been selected to go to the Regional science fair. Nice honor, but he has been there for the past two years. He decided not to go this year since they don't get any extra grades for it.

Today the teacher throw in extra credit points, enough to make it worth while. Matt is now going to Regional science fair in Jan. Oh boy!

We are proud of him for getting selected, but just wish the teacher had not thrown in the extra points. There goes another weekend. :confused3

Congrats to Matt... my condolences to you!

Jim & Sharon - will we see you Saturday night??

Alicia went to the regional science fair in 7th grade, last year they chose to do the Science Olympiad. I think the latter was a lot more fun, the regional SF was a long, boring day. Maybe it's better in FL?

Of course it is!! Isn't EVERYTHING?? :rotfl2:

Gosh, I just must say. I love ebay. Especially bidding wars in the last 4 minutes! :)

Ok, back to regularly scheduled programming.

I'll be able to give a Cozumel report after Christmas....it is confirmed that we will be there on the 26th of December. We have a private charter boat to three snorkeling locations, and should be able to get a pretty good glimpse of the island.
I'm willing to bet that they have a pier built by May....maybe not a port terminal, but at least a pier. Kevin...you know how construction goes, what do you think? Is that enough time?

I just glanced back over this and realized that we'll be in Cozumel in just 20 days! Wow.
SEVENTEEN DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS!

Had a great time today with Virgil. He may have a different "take" on his visit, though. He got to ride shotgun while Jordan drove! He's a brave man.

He also braved driving Jordan and another cheerleader to the basketball game...got a glimpse of what he'll be going through with Lauren soon. :cheer2: Those girls sure can be silly.

With enough money, anything is possible. If the cruise lines anty up it might be possible. Hard to say, but I'm hopeful!! :cheer2:

Do the cruise lines ever do that? I'm thinking it would be worth it to them in the long run.

My condolences :guilty:

So does Lisa like science?? :teeth:

Not really. She only made it to the school fair. She did not get selected for Regionals. She is a good girl.

Stacey, Thanks for the early morning top. Appreciate you leaving it for me. :cool1:

No, it's not better in FL. It actually is worse for Matt because we will do a quick set up on a Friday night and than we just drop him off on Saturday morning. We come back in the afternoon for the awards. He spends the day sitting in a folding chair doing homework.

His choice!

You sure do now how to show a guy a good time.

I got to do school pick up when I was there. Guess Virgil was the lucky one because he got two cheerleaders.

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Wednesday!

Our holiday lunch yesterday was very nice. Today is my last day at work before vacation and I've got so much to do. Was going to try and go in early but overslept a big. Christimas cards are all printed and put in the envelopes. Now I just have to do the labels and off they go!
