PINS....a 3 year old can't have too many of those!! :)

I cruise September 4th. Is that too soon to get a wish list to me?

That's probably too soon for me to get a wish list together. If you're in the shops, maybe you could do a little "window" shopping for me and let me know what's available. Then I can get a list together for Irene ... think she's cruisin' in Nov. But if that's too much trouble, I understand.

Ya, know the feeling! I absolutely HATE waiting in waiting rooms and the like!

Time is money!

I can't even stand to wait for the microwave to boil water. I have a serious impatience disorder. And don't get me started on the school traffic that I hit this morning... never again do I leave the house at 7:30 instead of 7:10!!!!!!

You've been pretty patient about the cruise. We haven't seen a dark side yet. You (and the rest of us crazy fools) booked how many months in advance???

Believe me... it's KILLING me... and even worse, that my kids don't know about it. I've got them convinced that we can't possibly go on a cruise anytime soon because the new house is costing us too much.

Elizabeth informed me this morning that the newspaper said that there's only 121 shopping days til Christmas. (Little does she know, the 'present' has been bought for MONTHS!!!). So I guess that means only 121 more days to keep my secret!

I probably won't get toooooo impatient about it til Dec 25 at approximately 7AM. (when the kids find out).

And no, you haven't seen my dark side... let's hope it never appears on the DIS!!!

:cake: :bday: :jester: Happy Birthday, Emily! Hope the cupcakes were yummy...

The love/hate relationship continues with my beetle - walked out this a.m. on the way to work and discovered it wouldn't start...Nothing was left on - it's only 1 1/2 years old...I was hoping to stay out of the shop for at least a month this time...

Irene, I'm half way through "Good Neighbors" - it's hysterical...found the "Sound of Music episode, too. :rotfl2: Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm in that line with you! I'm adjusting my time to avoid the 7:15-7:45 rush. At 7:50 it was wide open.

I can see it now. Karen waking her kids at 3:00....GET UP, GET UP...go open your gifts. Come on!!!!!!

Ya know guys. I don't know if I'm ashamed of ya'll or I should thank you.

I leave today at 4:00. KT and I go to an amazing scrapbooking class on how to get the most out of your Sizzix (I know, you're all going :confused3 ) and then to a quick dinner at BW3, then to get haircuts. I'm finally home and the kids are in bed.

So I check in on the DIS.

This thread has exactly ONE PAGE of posts. For that, I'm thankful because it didn't take me long to catch up.

My member cruise thread had FOURTEEN pages of posts. Not 14 posts....14 PAGES. Of course, no way I have time to catch up with that now.

So, thank you for keeping the posts to a minimum so us slow ppl can keep up, but come on!!!! ;) ;)

Cool! A TOP with KT, Nick, my hair stylist, my Sizzix machine and the DVC cruisers! :)

Yeah but remember... I've still got the elementary schooler...who goes to the 'wrong school' so we have to fight the Creek traffic every day too. Thanks to Elizabeth's orthodontist appointment this morning, I got to fight the elementary school, middle school AND high school traffic all in the same morning. Gotta love it... NOT!!! And guess what... I get to do it ALL again next Thursday!!! (Thanks Dr. L... you take all our $$$ AND give us traffic headaches too!!)

Hey Gunka, that DVC thread is in its last minute frenzy, right? Not to worry, we'll catch up.

The continuing saga of my love/hate relationship with my beetle...recap, 1 1/2 yrs 15,500 miles. it wouldn't turn over when trying to start...everything else worked....John in his infinite wisdom and experience of 16 years of marriage to me - asked the all important question..."Are you SURE you had your foot on the clutch when you tried to start it?" :rotfl2:

Came home he started it (rolled it back to start it, somehow) and we drove to the dealer...I kept insisting I didn't leave anything on to run the battery down - felt very vindicated when the dealer couldn't get it restarted and then became very concerned...

Of course, this was the 5th grade parent orientation night, 2 kids in soccer practice at two different locations, all at the same time. With only one running car...I'm ready for some chocolate!!!
