On a bright note, I was offered and accepted the job that I had interviewed for on Friday. I'm very excited about it. Now all I have to do is get used to working 40 hours a week, again. It's been a few years since I've had to do that. My new boss didn't even bat an eye when I told him I needed 2 weeks off next year.

We've enjoyed a 4-day weekend, but back to work tomorrow. It's been downright chilly here. We've had lows in the upper 30's/lower 40's and highs have only been in the upper 50's/lower 60's. I want summer back!

Sad thing was, when I interviewed with the first guy, he asked me about DS. I told him he was in 5th grade. He said that he had one in 5th, then stopped and said well, he wasn't really sure what grades his 2 kids were in. He said they'd be 9 and 10 next year, so maybe they were in 3rd and 4th? That guy really does need an assistant (ME!).

Nope - all you have to do is buy the reader instead - but the memory card into the reader - and download it that way.....

how about an exchange of a CD - We must all have lots that we do not listen to - they are easy to mail - We could select one we would like to get rid of - one we have an extra of - one we love - or the worst in our collection. I figured this could even start a few family fights for the fun of it....

We are definitely 24 addicts. Netflix delayed a disc (lost in mail?) and compounded with the holiday we were missing the next disc in the series. We had FUTURE discs, but not the one we needed. Blockbuster did! Haven't stepped foot in there in a few years! Now when my next discs come, I'll have to ship them back immediately!

Got the flu-mist today. Mike brought it home from work. I'm unsure which is worse...the mist or the shot. Of course, I had to act brave for the children's sake but YUCK!!!!!

Small chance KT will get the flu and will be unable to perform her duties as flower girl. In which case I will make the ultimate sacrifice and will stay home with her (and watch the game on TV)

Off to bed. Promised the kids if they HUSTLED in school today and got today's work and 1/2 of tomorrow's work done today we'd go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tomorrow at the $0.50 theater. I'm a big spender, no?

I thought you would come up with a solution for me. This is the first time I have been seriously looking at the Ipods and I am amazed at what they can do.

Now if they would just work with GPS that would eliminate one more gadget to carry.
