CRUISE RELATED CRUISE RELATED
I am not sure about the schedule, but as far as the photos the release is still on Babrs page, so I would say yes. I am glad you brought this up, as DH and I took a lifestyle protrait on board last week, that Ifell in love with! I never like a picture of myself, and this one came out great! YOu can certainly tell that we had been away from the kids for 4 days at that point! HAHA we are glowing!
And yes there is a new DVD out.

Thank you Amanda!!!! I was hoping there was a new DVD. I have already given up trying to keep this a suprise all the way to the cruise, so now I am thinking I will order the DVD and wrap that up and give it to dh and kids for Christmas. By that time I will have gotten my Christmas bonus and paid the cruise off. I wish I could make it until the day we sail, but I just know I can't keep this secret that long!!!

Yay, we're all imaginary friends! I didn't have one as a child, and I've always felt incomplete.

So, we "complete you?"
How Jerry McGuire-ish! :)

POTENTIAL SPEW WARNING! ;)

Which means.....eventually....you WILL have to come out of the closet.

I'm getting a little frustrated with our daily puzzle in the paper. I think they're printing bad ones! Or maybe I just shouldn't be sudokuing before coffee....

Speaking of which, Kevin buys green Tanzania beans and roasts them in our garage. Smells awful, but the coffee is the best I've had. Very spoiled. Coffee = Love.

John has a roaster in the garage, too - my car smells like roasted beans - I'll have to ask him what he roasts - why is it that brewing coffee smells wonderful - roasting coffee smells awful? - I'm very spoiled...Morning mocha in bed - today, it was there when I opened my eyes...last week, I suggested he evacuate the roaster and Livia (the brand name of his expresso machine) - I call it the "other woman" - he's the only who who turns her on... :rotfl2: - alas, he said no - I had to make do with regular store bought coffee. Natchitoches, LA doesn't have a Starbucks for me to drag myself into as a last resort....

Hopefully you won't be getting the "jam of the month club" for Christmas instead of the big bonus! ;)

Hello everyone. I have having a hard time getting around this morning. We had another Friday night football game last night and it went really late. Good thing was we won again and are now 4-1 and 3-0 in district. The bad thing is if we keep winning like this, it sure extends the marching season. I love marching season, but by November it sure gets old having to have kids at school by 6 a.m.

Got the laundry going because I have a ton of it to do today. DS - Dale is going to homecoming tonight with a big group of kids. This is a good group of kids, all being part of a Christian group at school and/or band.

Have a good weekend.

I'm so impressed with y'all keeping secrets - that lasted about as long as the time between booking the cruise 2:00pm and the kids walking in the door after school at 3:30. we debated not telling them but, I just couldn't do it. I was dancing around the house with excitement.

Linda,

Welcome to the cruise. I am taking orders for a customized backpack/combo cooler that we will order. I can't remember how far back I posted a b/w picture, but it was around Thursday I think. We are up to 14 or 15 order so far. Need to get at least 20 to get the price down.

if we dine at Animator's the first night, will that put us in Lumiere's for formal night, Parrot Cay for Pirate.....we'll have it down to a science. Not naming names, but we have a few here who are also obsessive planners!!

Well, add me to the "obsessive planners" list. Our first cruise, I spent a year and a half planning//obsessing and getting every detail organized. (It really helped that we got upgraded from our cat 4 to a cat 3, so we had concierge help with getting everything planned) I am looking forward to the planning stages again, but getting a late start this time... less than eight months. :teeth:

Yay me...... my first TOP by accident, and I almost missed it!!

Our first cruise in 2000 we surprised the kids. We were at WDW and told the kids we were going to drive to to Kennedy, ended up at the port. That was when you could drive up to the port doors, so we did and asked the guys taking the luggage if they thought we could just go inside and look. Got the kids out of the car and inside and then let them unload the luggage from the car. The kids couldn't believe that we had kept it a secret from them for so long.

Of course, that was booking through DVC in January and then sailing in May, versus booking in October a year and a half in advance of the sail date. I couldn't keep it a secret that long.

We found (well, we didn't, but the cat did) a little mouse nest in our closet, up on a shelf...when our cat made her bed in there to have her kittens. At least she didn't have to leave the kittens to hunt! ;)

Anyone want to send us a cat to borrow for a while??? There's SOMETHING in out attic. Although we're not really sure that it's in the attic or just in the ductwork for the vest in our master bath. We started noticing droppings on the floor ... always in the same area. GROSS!!! Looked up one day & can see droppings stuck in the vent. We can hear whatever in the early a.m. hours. Last night I heard it at 9:30 p.m. Sounds like it's scratching or banging on metal. We had Terminix come out & look but of course they won't do anything ... if it's a bat, they don't handle it; can't look in the vent since it's electrical; can't crawl in the attic; blah, blah, blah ... what the heck am I paying them for??? Any suggestions?

On the bright side, at least they don't have to march in the snow...the only thing worse than playing trombone with a frozen mouthpiece in November was running cross country conference on a Friday night in November in the snow...in shorts and a sleeveless shirt - think I broke my personal best that night...Just wanted my sweatshirt and sweatpants :cold:

My kids do know. I wanted to keep it a surprise, just in case we have to cancel. But, Emily seemed to somehow know ... guess they hear more than we think they do. And DH confirmed it one night at dinner.

I did manage to keep our first and only family trip to WDW a secret - Mike was 5 and Maggie 2 1/2. We didn't tell them until we picked him up from preschool and the van was loaded for the drive. Also didn't tell them my parents were meeting us there until we knocked on their hotel room door in Orlando before heading to the World...that was a fun suprise- but, I can't seem to do it for these cruises...

We were going to keep our cruise a secret until we got to the port, or Christmas at the earliest. DH and I were way too excited and ended up telling DS. DS is supposed to be e-mailing his new cruise pals, but he's been really lazy about that lately. That was one reason that we told him about the cruise, so he could have some of those 'invisible' friends, too. :rotfl:

Are YOU talking to ME?!?!?! YOU must be talkin to ME, cuz I dont see anyone else around....
