Mary, that sounds fantastic! I so want to go on a Member cruise one of these days.
Virgil, that was a fun report to read. Are we all ready for a trip to HHI now? Actually, that is our plan too, one of these days...
So many trips, so little time (and money).
They are great fun. Here's a teaser of what we are getting.
Plan to attend the S.S. Member Cruise 2005 Guest Speaker Series. Scheduled presenters include Jim Lewis, Senior Vice President and General Manager,
Disney Vacation Club; Chef Gordon Holmes of
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort; a special guest from Walt Disney Imagineering; Christopher White, 2005
Walt Disney World Ambassador (read more about Christopher below); Don "Ducky" Williams, Senior Character Artist, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Marketing; and Dave Smith, Founder and Director, The Walt Disney Archives.
Plus, Art Linkletterlegendary humorist, television and film , and personal friend of Walt Disneyjoins us for a very special appearance. Come hear his personal accounts of conversations with Walt about such notable events as the planning and 1955 opening of
Disneyland® Park in California. Seating is limited.
Now while that's a pretty impressive line-up by any measure, here's something truly outstanding. Susan Egan, "The Belle of Broadway," will be entertaining
Disney Vacation Club audiences in two exclusive live performances. Nominated for a Tony Award® and a Drama Desk® Award for her Broadway role as the original 'Belle' in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," the multitalented Ms. Egan is also familiar to Disney fans as the voice of 'Meg' in the 1997 animated Disney feature, "Hercules." She recently completed her run in the starring role of "Thoroughly Modern Millie" on Broadway, and we're very excited to have her aboard the S.S. Member Cruise 2005. And there's even more fun in store, as a Disney celebration wouldn't be complete without a surprise or two. All will be revealed when we're at sea!
