I made another payment yesterday on the cruise, so I feel pretty good, we are over half-way paid. Finally a TOP

We also had to go to the Halloween party store and buy a Cleopatra costume for an English assignment/play that Ashley is doing at school on Friday. Guess what she is dressing up as for Halloween?? Killed two birds with one stone.

Cleopatra sounds great! My two haven't been trick-or-treating in a couple of years, but Jordan wants to go with friends this year. I'm thinking "Pirate Maiden" so it can double for Pirate night on the cruise.
I got a new wench costume...and I got a fluffy pirate man shirt for Jay (He'll LOVE it, don't you think??)....gotta be planning ahead for this stuff!!

Okay, I have an update on the bags for those interested. Spoke to the vendor again today. No they cannot put a mickey head or Disney cruise line on the bag. We can have any design we want silk screened on the zipper pouch (large area) and that is included in the price. She will give me the bags for $21.99 per bag and then if anyone wants them personalized, the embroidery will cost $4.50 per bag. She also will package and ship them to everyone if I give her the address labels for everyone. The bad part about that is with the postage and packaging it will cost an extra $10 (approximate, depends; on weight) per bag. Now for those of you living outside of Texas, if she does the shipping, you will not have to pay any sales tax.

Since they cannot do the mickey head, I am leaning more towards order the royal blue bags, then we can have lime green as part of the screen print. She said we could use our double scoop cone logo or anything we want as long as it doesn't go against copyright laws. I don't think the lime green color would look good on red. What do you all think. Some of you may not want to order now and that is okay. So, everyone, what do you think. She said we would need to put a cut-off of probably March 1 so that she could get them ordered, printed and shipped with plenty of time to spare.

I have told DD the same thing. I will repaint and decorate AFTER the room is clean.

Sounds OK to me. I don't think lime green goes with ANYTHING, but blue would be better than red!!!

OK everybody... I need your help... our 15th anniversary is in 48 hours, and have I bought Ray a gift yet..... NO!!!! Suggestions????

Actually, let me preface my request for suggestions with:

1. We don't spend a ton on anniversaries... about $100... remember, we bought a new house 3 weeks ago.

2. I got my gift from Ray already... perfume that came via UPS... I brought the box in from the front steps, and Ray said... "It's yours anyway, you might as well open it now." (It's the thought that counts... I DO love it.)

3. We are already going out for dinner (if a sitter for Christopher materializes by Saturday... and NO, Jim, I'm NOT taking Christopher to Stonewood with us- I don't care WHAT the chef will make him).

Anybody have any unique ideas???
