Mary - Good luck! I wear trifocals and the cost for new lenses has really gone up. Between the home improvements and the glasses we are talking about serious cruise interference. NO MASSAGES in January, drat.
Sue, I feel you. I had to get a set of new tires for my Expedition this week, and boy did that suck! My only thought when I was told what the price would be, " Oh man that is almost a 4 day cruise for 2!" I now know I have a problem! LOL

Okay, I am sure somewhere in the past 1100 pages you guys have already discussed this, but I missed it, so do you guys think the scheduling (as far as what night formal, what night pirate, etc) will be basically the same as the Western? Looks like they just swapped out cc for key west and costa maya for GC, otherwise schedule looks pretty much the same, so I am guessing recent Western Nav's would probably be fairly close to what we can expect???

Also, we haven't cruised since May of 04, so I have a couple questions for those of you that have cruised recently. Does shutters still allow the downloadable release so you can get your own copies of the pictures they sell? And does anyone know if they have updated the Disney DVD since it's first release?

That's all I can think of for now, but trust me, I will have a ton more questions. My dh always tells me I plan everything to death.... but I just call it being prepared!! :rolleyes1
CRUISE RELATED CRUISE RELATED
I am not sure about the schedule, but as far as the photos the release is still on Babrs page, so I would say yes. I am glad you brought this up, as DH and I took a lifestyle protrait on board last week, that Ifell in love with! I never like a picture of myself, and this one came out great! YOu can certainly tell that we had been away from the kids for 4 days at that point! HAHA we are glowing!
And yes there is a new DVD out.

Just got off the phone with my good friend. Her MIL just passed away last night. It's been a rough week for their family. Her MIL and FIL evacuated with them to my friend's hometown near Dallas last Wednesday. Thursday a.m. she (MIL) had a brain hemorage. Earlier this week, they took her MIL off the respirator and feeding tube, then flew her back to Houston Thursday and placed her in a hospice. Please keep the Rawley family in your thoughts and prayers.
MOnica,
I will keep the Rawley family in my thoughts and prayers. Very sad...

The next season of Alias comes out on DVD at the end of the month!! :cool1:
Oh yeah Thanks for reminding me that I want to watch this show too! The only problem is time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy aside from 3 posts by MOnica I had the last page by myself....Guess I should shut up now

I think I made up for being gone yesterday, with all my yakking last night.

I forgot....we should also warn Linda about LISA. LISA is the tough lady, not me. ;)

I have an evil twin who shows up every now and then. Her name is LISA. Capital letters, so as not to be confused with the sweet DD of the Scuba's...Lisa. Big LISA seems to get in trouble when she goes onto the Main Cruise threads, because she has a bit of a temper, and is VERY opinionated. She has been trying to be very good lately.......so as not to get tossed from the DIS completely!

And....our pal gaRry is harmless. Quite nice, actually.....we just writes funny!

Angie.....I'm glad you are getting this over with now. I think you will be so glad that you did. Maybe not the first week...but after that.
That was one of the concerns that I've always had. If I was going to have surgery, I wanted to do it while I was still young enough to recover in a halfway decent manner. But the doctor at Barrow told me that the longer I wait, the more advanced the surgical techniques will be, the better my chances will be for a good outcome....and....(and this was the part I had trouble believing)....he said that the recovery from the surgery wouldn't be bad for me, even if I wait until I'm in my 60's. :confused3

Hey, 'Manda....what's up??

Jordan has a friend named Amber......you know that I DIS too much, because I keep calling her Amanda!!!

OK now you have me curious about 24.....hmmm do I really need to add another TV show to my collection?

You don't have to watch the entire season. Just watch the first episode and see if you like it or not. ;)

OK hmmm splain please?? This rings no bells for me :confused3

My Cousin Vinny. HYSTERICAL movie if you can ignore the frequent profanity. :)

You are both glowing.
And there is a new DVD out.

I'm not sure I like the flow of that!!!! ;) ;) :rotfl2:

Linda....I think you're probably correct...I think the Navs for the Western will be pretty much the same for us. We will eventually get around to figuring out which night will be formal (with a full discussion on what we are all wearing), which night will be Pirate (again...costumes), etc., and which rotation is best for that. In other words, if we dine at Animator's the first night, will that put us in Lumiere's for formal night, Parrot Cay for Pirate.....we'll have it down to a science.

Not naming names, but we have a few here who are also obsessive planners!!

Sounds familiar!! I'm tempted to take a stick in to DD room. There might be Gators lurking!! :earseek:
I have to tell DS the story of his older sister. She really didn't like to clean her room and would shove a lot of junk in her closet. We lived next to a cornfield, so the little mice would come into the house. We were trying to find something in her closet and found a mouse nest in the corner. :earseek: She really kept everything up off of the floor after that (and we got our second outdoor cat, who is still with us and is now 17 years old).

We found (well, we didn't, but the cat did) a little mouse nest in our closet, up on a shelf...when our cat made her bed in there to have her kittens. At least she didn't have to leave the kittens to hunt! ;)

How do ya like them apples? We finally show up to keep Amanda company, and she disappears!!
