I have 11 down so far for bags:

Me
Susan (friend traveling with us)
Stacey
Kevin/Diana
Karen (Ohiominnie)
Angie
Amanda
Virgil
Mary
Sandi
Monica

I am thinking that we make the cutoff the same as when final payment is due or maybe even March 1. Have to have enough time to get the bags and time for me to ship them out to everyone. What do you guys think?

Also, we need to decide what we want to put on them. I think we could have something standard (not too wordy) and I am not sure on this, but I think that we could probably have it personalized with a name on it for those of you that want it that way.

I was thinking something like: Disney Cruise Line
1st Double Scoop Cruise
May 27, 2006
(Personalization)

Let me know what you guys think. Unfortunately, I am not very creative.

Fall is here and the balloons are in the air. It's Balloon Fiesta time in Albuquerque. Was just standing in the back talking about a job with the guys and one flew right over our heads. Fun!!

Is that a big cow balloon in the midst of all of those hot air balloons?

I love hot air balloon gatherings....esp the night glows. :)

Yes it is. So you like the Glows:

Pretty cool Kevin. I've never seen anything like that before. Every once in a blue moon we'll see a hot air balloon in our area. Most of the time it's a Remax one.

We just had a hot air balloon go over our house the other day. Angie, it was a Remax one! :)

OM, you need to give us a spew alert when you're going to do that!

So what kind of gas prices are y'all paying? When I filled up on Wed., it was $2.54/gal. at Costco. Someone from work went there this morning and it's up to $2.89/gal. It's jumping big here in GA because our state taxes are being reinstated. The gov. cancelled them for Sept. after Katrina.

Whew! Three pages later. I need to learn that trick where you can go directly to the last post you read. Going to "Last Page" used to work, not anymore.

It's actually the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, quite a big one. It started when I was going to UNM (a long, long time ago), I remember the balloons flying over the campus mall. The cow is one of many that come for the special shapes rodeo. Sadly, living in Albuquerque, we pretty much avoid that whole part of town!

Pam, ask if they can embroider a Mickey head, OK? Maybe not, because of copyright infringement stuff, then maybe an ice cream cone? Other than that, your list is perfect.

Last night I filled my Camry for $2.41 a gallon.

(after spending $200 at Giant Eagle on food and prescriptions, I was eligible for $0.40 off per gallon (regular price $2.81).....I put in 14 gallons.....which means I spent $200 at Giant Eagle in order to save $5.60...should have filled MIKE'S TANK!) ;)

Here's the plan...

off to take the kids to the dentist...
from there, drive to Mansfield....
meet my parents...
give them the kids...
drive home and get here about the time Mike is getting home from work....
eat a big bowl of chili that's been cooking in the crock pot all day...
watch 24.

we had AMC passes that expired today that we thought about using, but opted to stay home, eat chili and watch 24. gave the tickets to our neighbor who expecting their first baby next month.....told him they should use them b/c it'll be a long time before they see a first run movie!!! :)

Didn't feel like driving to mansfield, then all the way home (1:15 each way) just to turn around and drive 35 minutes to the closest AMC. :)

.

You just click on the the little blue box at the beginning of the thread title and it should take you to the last post you read. Doesn't always work, but it does about 90% of the time.

and another trick - right click on it - and save as a favorite. All you will have to do then is select the link from your favorite list and it'll take you right to the first new post.

Hey, that wasn't nice! Just because she's type A, doesn't mean she's OCD!

Thank you. I knew you'd understand!!!

I was probably a classic case of OCD as a kid, though... getting out of bed after my parents were sleeping every night to make sure that all the doors and windows were locked and making sure that none of the faucets were dripping. (Don't know why-- I think I was afraid of a flood...)

Uh, yeah. I'd say there are some tendencies there. But are you afraid of germs? Sorry, I've watched Monk a few times.

Oh, God, no... forget the 5-second rule... if its been on the floor and still LOOKS remotely clean, its safe.

I worked with a woman who was a total germophobe for 14 years... she made me CRAZY!!! She disinfected every doorknob 10 times a day. She was our receptionist, and wouldn't let anyone use her pen, stapler, etc... because she didn't want their germs on it- and TOLD them so.

Stacey, I thought of you and your golf club chair when we were at the theater in St. Louis. One of the scenes had Potipher sitting in, yes, a chair made of golf clubs. My first thought was if that was one of your chairs. I'm not addicted to the DIS boards. I'm not addicted to the DIS boards.:guilty:

That's funny.....don't think it was one of ours.....must be a COPYCAT!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! THIRTY-ONE THIS YEAR, HUH?
