Lauren and I want to do this too.... Not convinced Frances will - but time will tell......

Awesome picture!!! I'm a sucker for sunsets...I just love them. I have a picture of a sunset coming home from Hawaii in the airplane. It's from way back before digital cameras, otherwise I would post it.

I'm pretty sure. That is, if Nick doesn't try to talk us into doing a dolphin encounter. Maybe we can do that at Costa Maya, I'll have to look into that. Who knows, Mike and KT may want to do it again.

HA! WDW just emailed me a link to a survey about Night of Joy. Has anyone ever been? It was chaos! I'll never go again!! Other than meeting Lisa there, there wasn't anything good to say about it, unfortunately. Now, maybe it's because I don't travel to WDW during peak times, but the crowds were UNBEARABLE! And more pushing, shoving and rude behavior than I've ever experienced at a WDW park!

speaking of....Jim or Sharon, did Matt lose his phone that night or were his friends just screwing around? I know Lisa kept trying to call him and someone kept telling her they weren't Matt and they found his phone and were keeping it for themselves. While she was with us she must have tried calling Matt 20 times, but it was never him. She seemed pretty upset about it and finally just wanted to go back with her group. I wondered if the phone was really lost or one of Matt's friends was just doggin' her.

She's certified - never been past her open water dive..... says she just wants to snorkel......

He lost his phone AGAIN??????? He had just 'lost' it (on the kitchen counter) during the DIS Meet the weekend before ... twice in two weeks... that kid needs one of the old style 'bag phones' that we had in the early 90's! He'd never lose THAT!!!!

Just got home from picking up DS's new coronet for beginning band. He's 'trying it out' right now. Good thing the DIS boards don't have sound. I told him he could 'play' until his DH gets home. Let's just say that DH doesn't have the patience that I have after a long day at work.

We went on the Atlantis sub excursion instead. We're thinking of just taking a taxi to Chankanab on our own for the day. Anyone done this?

I have not done it but I have read up on the rental car to do on your own....to the ruins that is....Admittedly, we booked the Double Dip before the November cruise but paying attention to the November Eastern....

We like the drive ourselves concepts.....More info as I find it....

I've done chankanab (sp?) but not on my own. Did it with a DCL excursion. Nick and I did the dolphin encounter. It was a hassle...wait to get off the ship, line up...wait some more...line up....walk to taxi's....wait some more....get to chankanab....wait for the rest of the group to catch up....go to another area of the park....wait again....get life vests....wait....go to docks....wait....

FINALLY....get in water with the dolphin and totally forget that you just "waited" 2 1/2 hours to do this!!!
