Thanks for the pics, Jim. That looks delicious!

We ate Fair cuisine last night. You know, things like turkey subs with green chile, cheeseburgers, curly fries, fresh lemonade, watermelon lemonade, churros, Indian fry bread, caramel apples. OK, there were about 12 of us, it wasn't just the 10 of us eating all that. I wanted to try the deep fried Snickers, but we never found them.

The show went well though. About halfway through, Alicia got over being shy and started tearing off costumes as she was running offstage. She was in six routines, and each one required a costume change. YES, she was wearing something underneath! Good thing, because there was nothing resembling a dressing room.

Over all, it is just a fun place to go that is really out of the way. If anyone wants to stop by Port Orange/Daytona Beach we will be glad to show them the way!

Looks like a cool place. What about a pre-cruise dinner the night before we sail. We'll be driving down to stay at the port. Will anyone else be around the area the night before?

I'm sure we will. We are definitely "get down there the day before kinda people."
And we like to stay near the port so we can try to beat the Scubas for "first in line."

Jim, we got close this last time....2nd in line. Of course it took a very crazy chinese fire drill in the port parking lot to get us there!! ;) HA HA....remember that, Mary?

Sure do. Here's a picture of our impromto DIS meet in the parking lot.

Congrats. That would have been tough with that group...a lot of experienced DISers.

See that's the advantage you with nice trained children have. They can go in line and save your place. With Bear he just goes where we carry him so we were a few zig-zags back in line :)

Yeah, saw this on the "live from" thread. This picture cracks me up....Look who is facing the camera from my party.....Marc (not a member of the DIS), Mike (a very infrequent member of the DIS) and Butch (not a member of the DIS and thankfully not wearing a dress!) The one contributing member to the thread cannot be seen in the picture!! HA:rotfl2:

We did "warn" the ppl who got into line behind us that we had a "fairly large family" and we were holding their spots. We were going to let you cut but then you were with a bunch of other DISers and you were having fun there. :) Besides, it was fun to yell across those zig-zags to you!! :)

The good thing for us is that there will be NO parking involved... Ray's dad will just slow the truck down to a safe speed for us to jump out... its great living close enough that someone can drop us off instead of doing the parking lot shuffle!!!! (And he's always up at the crack of dawn!!)

We will be glad to help you out here....no reason to get a hole in your pocket when we are here.

The kids both go to youth group on Sunday nights so Sharon and I have made Stonewoods our Sunday night date. We love it!

I think Christopher needs to find a 'Sunday night hobby' while the older kids are all at Youth Group... hmm... watching football with Grampa sounds good...

I just showed Ray your shrimp post... he just doesn't 'get' DIS'ing... his response was, "Some people just have WAYYY too much time on their hands" :rotfl2: .

And way to much shrimp spice and butter running down my fingers. :rotfl:

Ray is just jealous that on Saturday afternoon he was probably at some hot football field while I was sitting in JB's eating shrimp and enjoying a cold drink.

:flower: Good morning cruisers! :flower:
Happy Monday!

Back to work. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning all - waking up to more hurricane warnings but they are further south than we are.....We will hope that the Keys are safe as well.

Thanks for the pics of the food - I wanna go -- and the pre-pre-meet.....Looks like folks have been having fun.

Dinner last night was fun. Salad, Turkey a la Sam - on the grill, sweet tatoes on the grill, juliiene stir fry squash and carrots, cream puffs and raspberries....and champagne, no Fairy Tale - however.....plus Smithwicks...

Yummy.

Must get ready to go to the Dentist.....The Dive trip loosened old fillings....
More $$$$$$ for this new hobby,,,,,,,,oh well, it needed doing some time, I am sure....

Good morning all! We survived Chuck E Cheese yesterday. Now it's back to the grind of another week at work.

Yeah... sitting at JB's with a school lunch tray full of food and a cold one, or standing out in the hot sun over on Derbyshire... which would YOU rather do???

We won't be around to do a night before cruise meet. We opted to stay at our timeshare in Orlando cause hubby wants to go to WDW before cruise(who am I to complain?) I will be very jealous, though. We'll see what really happens between now and then.

John was sold on JB's just looking at the menu and we were already planning on stopping. He hasn't even seen the pictures, yet. We're there!!!
