Moving the boxes tomorrow (between football games), and the big stuff on Sunday. Can't officially move in til after the closing Monday, that is, if the paperwork that is somewhere in "UPS land" gets to the title office on time. (They didn't send it for "AM Delivery"... why on earth would you UPS something 10 miles???????)

Must stop working and go have dinner and wine with friends.

Open water dive set for Sunday - but sees ar 3-5 feet - yuck!

Remember, once you are below the water the waves don't matter. Enjoy your dives!

I would have WALKED it from the bank to the title company if I had to... and they didn't tell us til 5PM today that the paperwork wasn't there yet... arrrggghhh!!!!

Nope -got the policies signed off on on both ends before Ophelia was upgraded to a hurricane the first time! We're good to go.

Kikipug - I hope you do better at leaving than my neighbors! They didn't leave until 5:20 this afternoon. I thought they were packed and ready but the garage, shed and basement were untouched!!!!!!!!!! I have the two cars and another neighbor has a basement full of stuff from a garage, shed and basement. Several doses of advil should get me out of bed tomorrow. I have Nick and Emmy for the night and they have soccer at 9am.

I've been at the studio, then at dinner. Big show next weekend at the State Fair. New costumes to try on and hem. They're doing a big 60s number, bell bottoms with fringe and the whole bit. Yellow, hot pink, and DIS green. It's quite an eyeful.

Mmm, grilled portobello mushroom panini for dinner at our neighborhood microbrew restaurant. And in the refrigerator, a pitcher of margaritas. Life is good...

And it's even better with a TOP!!!

Sure! I'm looking for movies to fill up my que! TV shows too. It's hard, I've seen so many movies, but have been trying to think of older ones that Alicia might enjoy now that she's a bit more mature. Not R mature, but you know.

How about any of the teenaged angst movies from the 80s - Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles, Breakfast Club...How about: The Outsiders (I'm assuming at some point she will or did read it in school...) Lucas (kinda cliche but, it was filmed at my rival h.s. my sr year...) My kids (albeit they are a bit younger) love Happy Days - Mork and Mindy, Laverne and Shirley, and Dukes of Hazzard.

I just finished Good Neighbors and I'm working on Fawlty Towers...They both are funny, tame BBC sitcoms.

There's a start - and as I'm going through the "Browse" categories on netflix - I just added a bunch more to my cue.

Got an e-mail from my dad - my mom's lymphnode surgery for Breast Cancer was a sucess today - CLEAN and CLEAR was the report! Appointment next Thursday for the next step - probably 6 weeks of intensive radiation. Or, at least that's what they expected to be the next step.
