Thanks for the link Kiki, I skimmed the 2 posts you said and what great story...maybe I missed it but how did they get Mickey to do that?

:grouphug: Irene - sorry to hear about your friend's dad.

I've heard the same thing as Amanda. If you already have a DCL credit you can't get another one. We have the $200 one from booking onboard.

Irene - So glad you can support your friend.

I am greatful I could spend today with 2 dear, innocent children. I was able to focus on their delights rather than the tragedy in the world.

Jim and Matt just called. They are in Orlando and heading home. YEA!!!! I am very happy to have them safely back in the country.

KikiKaren,...In the picture you sent for Taylor, Elizabeth's teeth looked just fine.....why are you getting them if you don't mind my asking? CJ is getting them because he has a very large over bite, and he was becoming self conscious about it....

That picture is very deceiving, as she has 'learned' how to smile without showing much of her teeth. She has a bit of an overbite, but worse, her bottom jaw is too far back, creating what looks like a worse overbite, plus, her top jaw is too narrow, making her teeth not close properly in the back. She would have much bigger problems as an adult if we didn't get this straightened out. (literally).

Great news! I am sure that it will be a happy homecoming... especially for Mom!

Kevin or Jim or Mark or any other dude that loves gadget who may be lurking....OK I have almost convinved myself to buy a GPS thingamabob.......They look really cool, and in talking with a friend who has one, it seems like it would come in really handy for our L-O-N-G trip to Colorado next week...sigh...

I looked at them in Circuit City yesterday....My friend said he had the Gorman jarmen something like that model... said he paid about $800 for his, but he said that I should be able to get the $500 model for what I need. I dont really know much about these things so I do not know what to look for....I dont want to break the bank, but I want one that is user friendly, and idiot proof.....help please?

Hmm... lets see... how many cell phone minutes does it take to call and say "help, I'm lost"... and how many times does that go into 500, or 800... :rotfl2:

I have to blame Jim on this one. He has (or should I say Sharon) has Garmin Que3200 or one very close and used it when we dove together last month. I was really impressed when on our way down to Ft. Lauderdale we got hungry and just queried the GPS and found a Subway just around the corner. Very cool!! It worked for dive shops for air fills and all points of interest; Airports, gas stations, restaurants, police stations, bus, car repairs and much more can be found. Very handy, especially in a unknown city.
I had bought the Magellan 700, but it had some quirks I didn't particularly liked. So I got the Garmin 2620 It has been awesome so far just learning it around town.
Jim can speak up here that he's back, but I think he paid about $400 for the Que model. The 2620 was about $800 at CostCo.

Is it too late for the fathers day present???? :rolleyes1

:flower1: Good morning cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Friday!

Ok - have to get back to a happier mood.
1) It's Friday - got to be happy on Friday!
2) Jim & Matt are home!
3) We can't let the @#$*#&@$ win!

Good Morning All - It is raining cats, dogs, buckets.... Local weather man says we have had 4 inches since last night! Looks like Dennis is getting bigger and badder.

Sue

Good morning all. It's raining here, too. They say we're supposed to get approx. 3" of rain today. It doesn't look THAT bad out. I have to check the internet for weather conditions as I jumped right onto the boards upon waking this morning. NO life. Kept the kids home from camp today. Did not feel like waking them up early. This week has been very hectic. So, what time do they wake up you ask?? 15 minutes later than if I had to wake them for camp. They just don't get it. Anyway....

Gotta go now and do the MOM thing. Breakfast, etc. Talk to you guys in a little later.

Maria

Good Morning!

No rain for us western types. In fact we are slated to have upper 90° temps through the weekend.

Alicia and I are going diving!
