Kiki - why should that 6' boy be any different from anyone else? Don't they all want gadgets? I'm close behind though. My 6' kid wants things like tools, though, not electronics. He could just about turn the TV on. Forget about TIVO or something like that. He has enough trouble with the Satellite TV. Speaking of Satellite, I just got my husband Sirius radio for his car. It will take a few months for him to figure that one out. Too funny....

OM, you're the one in to pin trading, right? Question for you ... where can I get replacement mickey head backs? I let DD where here princess pin to school one day. She lost the back. Then I lost one to my Day 1 pin (Disney Visa). We're not in to trading but have a few pins - got the Day 1 pin when I signed up for the visa, got the 50th Disneyland Happiest Homecoming on Earth pin from Disney (they're our clients at work & send us things every now & then), and then bought the Visa princess ones at Easter time.

Have you been to the new Goofy's Candy Company... specifically, the counter in the middle where you 'create your own masterpiece'... using Rice Crispy Treats, pretzel rods, apples, gingerbread mickeys, or biscotti as a 'base' and then dip in chocolate or caramel, and then in crushed 'something' (M&M's, Reese's, Butterfinger, nuts, etc., etc., etc.) Worth every calorie!!!!!

Even though I'm listing open dates as the day after a scheduled visit, try to allow 5-7 days for travel time in between dis'ers unless y'all arrange a mini-meet for a hand-off...

The "REAL" Scoopie could have come with us on our Non-Disney cruise, but we leave on the 23rd (of Dec)....no time to get him from one place to the other....
Maybe he would like to come to Arizona in January, and see how nice it is with no snow???

When I gave my Scoopie dates, we had two fun trips planned, but please do not let these dates get in the way of Scoopie visiting someone else....I will be more than happy to release a date. Just let us know...

I'm afraid that I wouldn't contribute much. I love taking pictures, but they don't seem to turn out as well as I'd like. DH is even worse that I am. Hmmm...maybe I'd better give the camera to DS next time . Love the full moon over the water picture.

Uh, yeah, we did that AFTER Earl of Sandwich last time...
and we ALLLLLLL got our own creation (actually, Nick opted for a bag of mixed candy)

It was TOOOOO much.....but yet SOOOO good!

Expensive...we got three of those and a 1/4 pound of candy and it was about $17!

Ok, time to gather some opinions. Do you have a laptop or desktop? Which do you prefer, and what brand do you swear by? I have a cheap desktop that we're going to upgrade (mostly for DS) and a laptop that I need to replace since the video screen went out. It's kind of hard to take on vacation to upload the digital pics when there's no screen. It's currently hooked to a flat screen monitor. So we're in the market for 2 pc's that we can network at home.
