When I signed up for Scoopie I just said "anytime is fine." I was never assigned a week. Maybe I ought to double check the list and see if I was assigned a time.....if people are getting him TWICE, seems like we should have our time too, huh?
Ditto, here. Mark and Mary were going to drop him off with us at our mini-meet until he got the chance for the Alaskan cruise. We still don't have a date for Scoopie, but then again, we're not going anywhere exotic (or even boring) before our cruise. We're vacationing through Scoopie's web site this year :charac2: . But at least I got a T.O.P.

How did I get dragged into this??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Because you and I tend to hover around 2nd & 3rd in the standings... and I figure that the farther I fall in the posting, the more it makes me NOT look like such a blabbermouth... (tho', if the shoe fits???) I don't need to worry too much about taking the lead... Amanda has us beat by quite a bit... but then again, she started it... (where's that stick-poking smiley when you need it?)

It was sleeting, cold and windy but Jeanne and I stayed out for over an hour.
This is why I moved from New Hampshire to Florida 2 years ago... somebody's gonna have to do a lot of convicing to get me to go to Alaska in '07 if there's no guarantee of not seeing THAT!!!

"Dad, I have a new favorite color!" oh? Yes, it's Cozumel Ocean Blue!! They should definitely put that one in the Crayola box!!!
Smart kid ya got there! She's right... it ranks right up there with Bermuda Blue in my 'crayon box'!

Had a wonderful time at MGM yesterday. Got to see the new show Lights! Motors! Action! Pretty cool....On the bus ride over to AKL the skies opened and we were in a massive downpour. We've been lucky in that the rains have come at times like this - when it really hasn't effected us. Hope our luck holds out.
We loved LMA too... especially Christopher- he is a definite 'gearhead' in the making. Sorry you got rained on again... we didn't get anything here yesterday... (Scuba must not have been out in the Jeep)... though I don't think we'll get so lucky today.

Don't use "Cooking Wine". It has way to much salt in it.
Besides, with cooking wine, its no fun drinking the rest of the bottle while you're still cooking!

There... now I've conserved enough posts to go about my business for the rest of the day! Besides, I didn't post last night... too caught up in a good book- only 125 more pages, which I'll surely finish tonight, then it's off to get the one in the series that I missed... (which means I HAVE to DIS at work... cause I can't READ at work! :rotfl2: Slow time here for me anyway- at least I can LOOK busy!

Oh WOW - what a beautiful photograph!!!!!!! :wizard: Magic award for this one.

Say, let's have a photo compilation after we return from the double scoop. Each ship mate gets to select one - and I bet we can put together a calendar for 2007.... :grouphug:
That's an interesting idea!!

That's why they have that big GOODYEAR sign out front. Product placement.

Kikipug knows all about that! In fact, you can place some of your product over here. :rotfl2:

As a city girl, visiting rural Illinois was always an adventure and exotic!!! Especially because my aunt didn't put indoor plumbing in on the farm until in the '90s - 1990's that is...

I'll let Diana schedule this one. Guys can't be trusted to handle an issue of this importance!! :rotfl2:

I don't know, how about Dec. 24? We can be pre-empted if someone with younger kids wants him. We just have the one big (six foot) one.

Mary & Mark, sounds like a great trip so far! Are you using the bus system to get everywhere? We didn't make it to Kona Cafe on our trip, but I do like that place. LMA was fun, but about the third time it started to seem a little long. My fault, I guess, since I went by myself, then with Kevin & Alicia, then again with my brother's family. During the third show, one of the cars stalled. So it was a little different!

Biggest restaurant hit with my brother's family was Earl of Sandwich! Has everyone eaten there yet? Cheap and good, we like it too. O'Hana was probably second.

Love Earl of Sandwich! But try to split with Mike so I can save room for the ice cream sandwiches there! Mmmmm. Last time I got a "chinese salad" and Mike got a roast beef sandwich and we shared each others.

I also like going there b/c I know I'm just steps away from Pin Traders! ;)

cool! A shared top with Diana, Mike and The Earl! :)
