Hey Kevin, I had dinner tonight with Vince Collins, the football coach of Valley High School.

We can talk tomorrow, via phone, regarding diving in August. I talked to Red.
Really? I graduated from Valley (or did you know that?) What a small world after all.....

I'll be up and at 'em at 8am your time. I'll even charge the phone just in case!!

:flower1: Good morning cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Tuesday!

Had a wonderful time at MGM yesterday. Got to see the new show Lights! Motors! Action! Pretty cool. Also did some shopping at Downtown Disney and then dinner at Boma. On the bus ride over to AKL the skies opened and we were in a massive downpour. We've been lucky in that the rains have come at times like this - when it really hasn't effected us. Hope our luck holds out. Today is the Magic Kingdom, lunch at Kona Cafe and then dinner at Flying Fish!

Have a great day everyone!

You mean you're not getting bored with my updates? Maybe you were away when the last one was posted? Sorry if I'm boring you guys, I feel like I'm giving birth to a new addition (a little play on words...hahahaha) I'm crackin' myself up.

TTFN,
Maria

Jealous perhaps, but not board. (oops there is that nasty spell checker again!) :)

Keep the updates coming...

Time for a change!

Went with the Blue Parrot Fish. These guys eat coral, and make smaller pieces, bascially turning it into sand! It's quite amazing to hear them underwater, it sounds like the snap, crackle and pop of rice krispies on milk!

Really cool fish :cool1:

I miss the short sweet and fluffy posts....can Karen back out to play???;)

Hee hee!

ME, Karen?

I'm here. Would have been here last night 'cept our cable was out...therefore our cable modem was out. :(

Had to find something to do that didn't involve technology! :earseek:

Question for you wine guys. I've decided to cook a french onion soup tonight with the vidalia onions that I bought yesterday. The recipe calls for a dry white wine. What type of wine do I buy? I know cheap since I'm just using it for cooking.

BTW, I'd like to share a compliment as well. The Scoopie web site is pretty awesome. Looks like time is running out for Scoopie to visit with us :sad2:

That's one busy Cone!!

Scoopie is with us at the beginning of October and then the middle of November. I did not check just now, but he had the weeks in between free. Wanna see if he can come over and play with you guys? :Pinkbounc

Oh WOW - what a beautiful photograph!!!!!!! :wizard: Magic award for this one.

Say, let's have a photo compilation after we return from the double scoop. Each ship mate gets to select one - and I bet we can put together a calendar for 2007.... :grouphug:

Yeah, we saw that twice when we were down in May and it was pretty cool! Loud, but cool!

I'd go with a Chardonay but others may weigh in on this one...

on the 10 day a lot of us all made copies of our photo CD's and mailed them out to people. In return we got a copy of their photos. Was nice b/c there were some things we did not catch that someone else did. :)

Sue,
Sounds like a great cruise. I really want to do an Alaskan cruise. Hope you guys don't miss Mike too much. ;)

When I signed up for Scoopie I just said "anytime is fine." I was never assigned a week. Maybe I ought to double check the list and see if I was assigned a time.....if people are getting him TWICE, seems like we should have our time too, huh?

Don't use "Cooking Wine". It has way to much salt in it.

Just use what you want to drink with the meal. The recipe probably doesn't call for that much so just buy a bottle that you want to drink and use that. Enjoy the rest with dinner.

Yup, not on the schedule for Scoopie. :( better pick an actual time so I can lock in on the fun. Monica, PM'ing you....

I'm afraid that I wouldn't contribute much. I love taking pictures, but they don't seem to turn out as well as I'd like. DH is even worse that I am. Hmmm...maybe I'd better give the camera to DS next time  . Love the full moon over the water picture.

The electrician has only come but once.

You mean you're not getting bored with my updates?
I know what you mean about the help getting things done. Our upstairs ceiling that we tore down 7 weeks ago only has about 1/3 of the tongue and groove boards put up. Of course DH is doing all of the work, and darned if his company doesn't expect him to show up for work everyday instead of him finishing the projects around the house! I, for one, like to hear the updates, hoping that you're staying cheerful and keeping the end-result in mind.
