I'm sure you're going to if you havn't already, get her to go thru the memory card(s), they might still be on them someplace.

Just make sure when you get your own, get extras of whatever memory cards it uses right away, think of them and treat them as reusable rolls of film.

Sarah's Mom is sending me a picture she found. I will email it to Mary. It should have Scoopie in it.

Mark, When I get the camera I get extra cards, then I transfer them to cd, then I look at the pics in the camera and compare to the cd?

Thanks, Sue

They make a little device called a card reader that you plug into the pc. You can plug in just about any type of memory card, to copy all the pictures to a folder on the pc, just as if you were moving a file on your pc right now. I usually at this point go through them in the folder, fix the ones that need any fixes for rotation or exposure or anything. Then you can just record that entire folder to a cd. Then yes, go back thru and make sure you have all the pictures on the cd. I always make three copies of the cd- one for me, one for Mary and one that goes into the firesafe.

Sharon, I don't think you need to worry about ziplining. When we stopped at Costa Rica on a cruise in Dec. 2003, even I went ziplining! Now, the waterfall rapelling might be a worry. But at least they aren't in a barrel!

Thank goodness for small favors. If they offerred them a barrel, they would probably try it.

Check out the Ritz-Carlton Orlando's Spa... it's WONDERFUL!!!!

I have not tried there (yet). The only spa I have used in Orlando is at Gaylord Palms (Canyon Ranch Spa) I was there a year ago on Mothers Day and again last February with Jim's Company's Annual Function.

Sharon the Spa at Saratoga Springs has a "My First Spa Experience" package for girls 4-12. It includes a facial, manicure and pedicure.

Another suggestion for a girls day would be the spa at the Grand Floridian followed by afternoon tea there.

I have a tech question I was hoping someone could answer for me? We use our laptop as our portable DVD player. The only trouble is, we have an Expedition and the kids in the back seat can hardly hear. When we had a different car, we had a tape player and we actually had a mini dvd player than that we could hook into the tape deck and use the speakers in the car....does anyone know if there is a way to do the same with a laptop, somehow use the speakers in the car?

Stacey, there is lots of OLD $$$$$ around in Columbus, I don't believe these ones even look at the price tag of things....you know the type??!!?

When I first moved here, it was almost all "old" money....and older couples. Now that there has been so much growth, it's "new" money...or debt...however you want to look at it.
The Old money may not have looked at the price tags, but let me tell ya, they were in the bank every three days, checking their investments, opening their safety deposit boxes, checking their balances.....
We had one customer, an older lady....she had a gal that lived with her, to help her out. The girl had to wash and iron all of the lady's paper money. Then the lady would bring it to the bank, to deposit, and she always wore white gloves when she handled the money. After the first time or two of seeing her, you learned not to stare. :rolleyes2

"LISA" sounds like a plan. ;)

chip&dale& fun....I know the cruise is for real, the hotel had sent me all the information a long time ago, but I tossed it out. I didn't think I would qualify for it. The qualifying is based on the amount of casino play. I still don't see how I could have qualified. We go to two & three different hotels when we go, not just always NY NY. Doesn't matter, I seriously doubt anyone will cancel...and even if they did, I won't go alone, and Jay can't go....it's from August 14th to the 21st.
My oldest DD has to work, as does everyone else I know (including me, but I could work around it;) ).......still, it would be nice.....

Kevin probably already answered this. We use our laptop too. We bought a splitter that allows us to plug three pairs of earphones into it. I guess you could find one for four!

That sounds like a plan! Sharon, you should look into this one, it can't cost as much as that week in Costa Rica!

Signing off until at least Saturday. Don't have too much fun without me! ;)

jotting down the page number so it's easy to find where I left off. :)

Best wishes and prayers headed your way that you'll survive the week and have a great time! You may be pleasantly surprised!!!! Enjoy! (I always LOVED working summer camp (but I was 15)... though there was no actual 'camping' involved. Cabins with showers was as much as I roughed it... it was fun!

Maria, copy the link to the music site so I can determine what format it is in. That way maybe I'll be able to better help.

Kevin,

I figured it out. One of my neighbor's kids came over and helped me out. She hooked me up with Limeline.com and then copied them to Dell Matchbox or whatever. Anyway, it worked. I made a good patriotic CD and wouldn't ya know, my boombox's batteries died on me right before the fireworks started. OOOooooo that makes me so mad   !!!! The fourth of July is one of the only days that you can REALLY listen to music like that. Oh well, I'm ready for next year. Already wrote down on my calendar to refresh the batteries before next year.

Thanks for your help though. I'm kind of a "visual" person. Telling me over the phone, etc. is not going to work. You have to show me. But thanks again. I'm the moron who can't figure it out and after she showed me, it was easy. I feel really old though cause I had to have a 16 year old help me out with the computer. Really bad.....

TTFN,
Maria

Disney Fans.....if your husband's cousin was on TV, I can guarantee my Dad was watching....tennis was his life, until he was forced into "early tennis retirement"!
And I LOVE the name Christian! You don't ever shorten it and call him Chris, do you? I don't think I would, the whole name is so great.

Hey justmestace,

Yea, tennis runs in my husbands family also so I know what you mean.LOL.

Yes and thankyou we love the name also and it is a little hard for Christian but he can write his name which is good for a 5 year old. LOL

How about your family_ any kids? and what ages?
