Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

We have winner!! That's my consensus as well! It was pretty funny to see all three of them get up and saunter out and back.....:teeth:

Three? There were definately four.

HA! Look at Matthew.....does he feel special, or what???
And I love the girls' "pirate" scowls!

I know they had the one photographer that did the special events, like the vow renewals and our DIS group picture....and then they had several others out in the lobby.

My vote is for "makeup checking" and "cute-guy scouting".

I just noticed I'm getting close to my 5000th post.
I remember hitting 4000 on the 10 night thread, and having to come up with something profound to say. I think I'll post something on the Main boards, so that I don't have to come up with a speech. Besides, I can only have one profound thought per year. :faint:

:flower1:Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Friday!

Looks like it is going to be beautiful here today and tomorrow. I love Spring! Too bad I have to work - it would be a great day to play hooky.

But your last profound thought was LAST year. You're due!!! :duck: :duck: :duck: :duck: :duck: :duck: :duck:

Karen - I was thinking the same thing. :)

Woo Hoo - got a top and shared it with Karen!

Hmmm.... profound thoughts.... must be time for Friday morning karaoke... and what's the last thing I heard on the radio while pulling into the parking lot... definitely a profound thought...

drumroll, please

dum

dum

dum

dum

dum

dum

(That's a pretty poor drumroll - especially for a former drummer...) :guilty:

Sing with me now...

:cool1: "I don' wanna grow up, I'm a Toys-R-Us Kid, they got a million toys at Toys-R-Us that I can play with..." :Pinkbounc

(and I didn't know that commercial still existed... now I'll be singing it all day!!!)

Karen,

You won't be singing alone....I think the rest goes something like...

from ____ to ____ to video games it's the biggest toy store there is. I don't wanna grow up cause maybe if I did, I wouldn't be a toys r us kid!!

Something like that. :cool1:

OK here we go for another one that I'm singin' in my head...

My bologna has a first name,
it's O-S-C-A-R,
my bologna has a second name,
it's M-A-Y-E-R,
OH, I love to eat it everyday,
and if you ask me why I'll saaayyyy,
cause Oscar Mayer has a way with
B-O-L-O-G-N-A!!
How's that? :cool1:

And my favorite one is the original with the kid sitting at the end of a dock with a bologna sandwich in one hand and a fishin' pole in the other. Do you remember that one? I love commercials. My DH is great at remembering everything. He's an advertiser's dream person.

Thanks for putting all those tunes in this hollow head of mine. At least I'll be singing all day..until a new commercial hits me.

TTFN,
Maria

Just be thankful it's not....

:cool1: plop, plop fizz fizz
oh what a relief it is
fast, fast fast...
:cool1:

:rotfl2:

ah, commercial jingles - the good ole' days!

Also missing are the great TV theme songs!! They just don't make em' like they used to... :sad2:

off to work at the

Y-M-C-A

It's fun to stay at the

Y-M-C-A

Bally's first - but, they don't have a fun song...

OH man, we could go on and on with this one. Let me think....give me some time and I'm sure I could come up with some more.

TTFN,
Maria

Like:

Here's the story of a lovely lady,
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls.
All of them had hair of gold, like their mother,
The youngest one in curls.

Here's the story, of a man named Brady,
Who was busy with three boys of his own.
They were four men, living all together,
Yet they were all alone.

Till the one day when the lady met this fellow,
And they knew that it was much more than a hunch.
That this group would somehow form a family.
That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.
The Brady Bunch, The Brady Bunch.

That's the way we became the Brady Bunch.

OR:

Love, exciting and new
Come aboard, we're expecting you
Love, life's sweetest reward
Let it flow, it floats back to you

Love Boat soon will be making another run
The Love Boat promises something for everyone
Set a course for adventure
Your mind on a new romance

And love won't hurt anymore
It's an open smile on a friendly shore
It's love
Welcome aboard
It's love!

OR:
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship. (definitely not the Magic)
The mate was a mighty sailin' man,
the skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day, (wow! that's an empty ship!)
for a three hour tour, a three hour tour………(I'd prefer a 7 day)
The weather started getting rough, (shouldn't have booked during hurricane season!)
the tiny ship was tossed.
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
the Minnow would be lost; the Minnow would be lost.
The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle, (castaway cay)
with Gilligan, the Skipper too,
the Millionaire, and his Wife,
the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle.

OR:

Come and knock on our door ...
We've been waiting for you ...
Where the kisses are hers and hers and his,
Three's company too.

Come and dance on on our floor...
Take a step that is new ...
We've a loveable space that needs your face,
Three's company too.

You'll see that life is a frolic and laughter is calling for you ...
Down at our rendez-vous,
Three's company, too!

(can't believe my mom and dad let me WATCH this show!!!)

Scuba family,

Wondering what your plans are for the weekend of April 30/May 1 or the weekend of May 7/May 8. Those are the two weekends we'll be at WDW. Now, my travel agent (ahem, Mike) has our schedule set, but hopefully you guys will be able to join us at some point one of those weekends.

I think a few of us Moms of young girls can give you a hint of the difference between 10 yr olds and 12 yr olds! Ask Vicki, LeiLani, Diana or me!! :earseek: The Scuba Family had early dinner, so they missed the "parade" of girls going back & forth to the ladies' room throughout the meal....... and make sure that they always have their room key. ;)

Well, if nothing else, Lisa does know the drill for a lost room key. She has lost one on each cruise we have been on. Guest Services must make her up an extra one in advance now. AND, because of this happening, one of my first stops when we board the ship is to de-activate her room key from charging privledges.

I'm still not sure what that was all about! I doubt it was about going to the ladies' room, unless it was to check makeup. I think it was more about displaying the evening's outfits, checking out cute waiters at other stations, getting their pics made together, spotting boys out in the lobby area. There wasn't a lot of eating going on at dinner, though the boys all did their share.

And, visiting a young man one of the girls was interested in. (at least that is my understanding via Matt)

The Scuba Family is staying at the Swan or Dolphin (Jim has the specifics) the weekend of April 30 / May 1 - to celebrate Matt's Birthday (just our family, no other friends). Let me know where you want to meet and when. Lisa will be so happy to see KT and Nick (and the rest of us will be glad to see all of you too). :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

From bikes to trains to video games..........

I need a life!!
I guess that was my profound thought for 2005. "I need a life".......#5000 and it slipped by, just like that.

The only member of my family that truly LOST a key was Jay. He lost it somewhere on Antigua.....had a rough time getting back on the ship, too. I didn't tell Jordan, but I did have to give him a little ribbing about it!
