Can't go wrong with North Turn... perfect 'beach food' & the view is always great. My kids love it there, too... (I don't think I've ever been there without kids... what's it like? )

It is a restaurant on the beach, at the original "North Turn' of where they used to race cars on the beach... www.racingsnorthturn.com. Great place!!!

Someone from here, being nice like we all are, noticed that the poster was going to be on our cruise, and said something like "come to our thread we are having fun" to which the poster replied with this blurb :

Sooo, nosey question of the day, has any been really good and already paid this cruise off? Not me! I will probably wait until the last minute like I always do.....Heck I haven't even paid off my trip coming up in Sept. I don't even remember when the final payment is. Guess I had better find out huh?

Just how much USEFUL info can we possibly post with 49 short weeks to go... ... even me, a compulsive planner, can't quite think THAT far ahead!!! Besides, everything about DCL as we know it could change by then... dinner rotations, excursions, spa treatments, etc., etc., etc... the only definite thing about the 5/27 cruise is that this bunch of wierdos will be on it... having a great time!!!

(And no, I haven't paid mine off yet.... waiting for my new Disney Visa)

I'm ALMOST paid off. Been doing little payments at a time. Seems to be working. It will be paid off by the end of the summer for sure. Then, I have to start saving for the spending money.... Any suggestions for an approximate amount to have at cruise time? I know, Shutters is where most of it will go. I'm going to try to do my best not to spend too much. From what I hear, they take great pictures of the kids. And the family pictures are to die for. Looks like Christmas pictures next year will be supplied by our cruise.


Anybody start to think about where they're going to stay the night before the cruise? Would be great if we could do a mini-meet that night. Just curious. I don't think we can even book any nights yet. The compulsive planner that I am, tried to see about airline tickets but but JetBlue doesn't book until 9 months out. I guess I'll have to wait for that one. Don't worry, I put it on my calendar. See, I'm really bad. I love planning.... It makes me gitty inside.
