Checking in from Gaylord Palms Resort. This is becoming my favorite hotel/resort in Orlando. We just left the boat in Key West and are now heading to our last dinner. No black tie tonight. After our dinner/entertainment I want to try the souffle at the steak house. To bad they don't have any Banfi. Guess a glass of port will have to do.

Sharon raved so much about the spa that I have my appointment tomorrow morning at 9 am.

We stayed 2 nights last summer at Gaylord Palms. I got it through Priceline. We were all very impressed. I think there themed pool area could be larger, but otherwise, we had a great experience and got upgraded to a suite on the 8th floor. The kids love all the activities do there.

MONICA!! What can you tell me about the Houston airport? I am flying Southwest into there (Houston Hobby) ...and I have a short lay-over. Are there places to eat? Is it easy to get outside for fresh air from the gates? Is it big? Medium?
As you can see, I've never been there. I don't want to get off the plane thinking I have time to grab a sandwich, and miss the next flight.

Went to the Outlet Mall today...it didn't rain and was a perfect day for it. Didn't buy anything except a new pair of tennies for Jared. But it was nice to be outside.

OH ...forgot...and this was weird....last night at the restaurant there was a husband and wife across from us. He was in jeans and a polo shirt....she was in pajamas and a bathrobe, with flip flops on her feet. She didn't look ill, walked okay...so we kind of ruled out a recent surgery......it was one of the strangest things......and to think I never would go up and get coffee at the beverage station in my robe!!

Saw on drudge a few weeks ago about a new restaurant where ppl go in, strip down, and eat dinner buck naked. Maybe this lady is just weaning herself into that.

All I know is that's the first time I really wished I had one of those camera phones!
We did ask a waitress (the daughter of a friend of ours) if she knew what the deal was, and all she said was "Maybe that's the latest style"....darn kids, can't count on them to be snoopy for us!
Truly, though...how do you wait on someone in a bathrobe and NOT ask them why they are wearing that??

Does anyone play SIMS? I just got it and it is so addiciting. I suck at it though! LOL I am trying to get better, but that is the reason I havent been around much. Oh yeah, that and the fact that DH bought me Angel Season 5, and I have been sneaking episodes in here and there.

How strange? Was it a grown woman? Or like a twenty somethinger? I am just trying to figure how such a thing could be.Maybe she was depressed or somthing and her DH just wanted her to get out of the house. Look at me, constructing a history for 2 people i have never seen or met! LOL

Hmmm...yeah, more and more I see teens out and about in what look like PJ bottoms....flannel prints and the like. Interesting.

She had to be at least 35 if not older. I swear. And it wasn't like the kids wearing their pj bottoms to school....we won't let Jordan do that, but her friends used to.
We did the same thing though...we were trying to figure out if she had had surgery, or what. She actually seemed amused at the obvious attention she was getting.
I looked to see if she had a hospital bracelet on......nope. Darn, I wish I'd had a camera!
Not for proof....just because it was so odd.

Actually, the robe had more of a "loop" to the fabric....more like chenille than terry, I think.

Ha! The crazy lady helped me get a T.O.P.!!
