Jordan's boyfriend and his Dad left yesterday for Belize to do a Peter Hughes liveaboard. Paul (the BF) laughed when I told him that I'd love to do one. He obviously thinks I am too big a sissy for that!!

Of course, their timing stunk. Yesterday was her 17th birthday and since he wasn't here, she was a total grump. I should have saved the money I spent on presents, flowers and balloons.

That was a few days ago... its already gone... it was "Andrea"... the first named storm of Hurricane Season... which doesn't start for 3 more weeks. So we've got fires AND draught AND storms all at once... but it still beats SNOW and ICE!!!!

We are off to church before preparing the big feast...

We are still suffering from Andrea's aftermath's - very heavy smoke....not to worry today is an inside event, with china and silver - oh my!!!!

She did not metal, but she did not fall apart like some of the other girls did. Especially the ones that were throwing up.l

As Kiki mentioned, it was named early in the week. It was actually a sub-tropical storm because of the way the winds acted. We did not even get any rain out of it....just lots of wind that helps fuel the forest fires.

Gymnastics was not the only event this weekend. We also did the Muddy Buddy on Saturday at WWofS. Matt and I competed and Lisa did the Mini Muddy Buddy.

The Muddy Buddy is a team event that includes running and biking. After each 1.5 miles there is an obsticle that needs to be completed. It covers 6.5 miles and ends in a team mud crawl.

Here are a few pictures that will show the good time we had.

The mini muddy buddy is a very short course which ends with the mud crawl. Since Lisa was not going to get dirty enough....I decided to help her.

Now for this she should get Banfi.

We have also decided that we should start a therapy fund. Each of our kids might need it after living with me for 18 years!
