Not much different then here.

It was 43 degrees this morning when Matt and I ran a 5K at Daytona Speedway. It was cold.

Matt finally earned the family record for 5K. He ran it in 23:20. That beat my best. He is the family master for the short track.

Now he can say he beat a 45 year old man at a 5K.

Speaking of ice.......

There was a peddler who sold wool blankets and sweaters. Every day, he would pull his cart a few miles from his home to the village marketplace. He passed a small lake that was on the property of a local banker. On a particularly cold winter’s day, he noticed that the lake was frozen over. He realized that he could shave a mile or so off his trip by pulling his cart over the lake. When he got halfway across the lake, the banker raced from his house, yelling, “Nobody’s going to pull the wool over my ice!”

I got my call from Disney Cruise LIne today wanting to know if I was still interested in a June 08 cruise, but to the Mexican Riviera. I said very kindly no thank you, but thanks for calling. So, you all that faxed in requests should be getting your calls soon.

I think I peaked Augie's interest in the Eastbound repo cruise in August '08. I have to wait until, what, Tuesday before I could get a price, right? 15 days on the Magic...woo woo. Who here has done the repo?

Ok...I am a WIDGET addict! I now have an egg timer widget (to time the kids' school breaks) and a gas price monitor widget (walmart is the cheapest gas by me right now) and Dine-o-matic....it'll help choose where we should go out to dinner if we can't make up our minds!

Also.....I just found out....If I misplace a paragraph and I want to move it....there is no more copy and paste, and then go back and cut the original. Just highlight and drag the paragraph to it's new location. I just did it here, ON THE DIS!!!

I haven't ever done one, but sure am hoping to do the Eastern this time.

No phone call for me yet.......at least, I didn't see anything on the caller i.d. We were at Jordan's dance competition all day....ALL day. There were teams there from New Mexico and CA. I'm beat!
Her team came in third in their division.

Congratulations to Jordan on their competition.

It was kinda funny when I got the call from DCL, because they must have called the house, because I had a message here at home, but they also called my cell phone. Ashley was in the middle of swimming the 500 yd. freestyle (20 laps) and my phone goes buzzing in my pocket. I pick it up and see a 407 area code and I am thinking it is DVC calling (have some waitlists going for our spring break trip) So anyway, she starts talking, and I am saying hold on a minute, yelling for Ashley and making sure her lap counters are moving the stick for her. I guess you had to be there, because it was rather comical. When I got back on the line, she asked where I was because there sure was a lot of noise. Had to explain we were at a swim meet, etc. I hung up the phone and figured she must have thought I was a crazy woman.

This was a different kind of meet this weekend. She could only swim events for points that she had less than an "A" time standard. The only thing, is she already has almost all A times except in the free style events and 1 of the butterfly events. So, she got a chance today to swim the 200 Free and the 500 free which she hasn't swum since last year. She came in first in the 200 and 500 frees and 1st in the 100 fly. She rarely swims the freestyle events because that is her weakest stroke. We entered her to swim exhibition in the 50 breast, and she had the best time, but she didn't drop any time, so she was disappointed.

After swimming, she practiced with her piano accompaniest for next weekends Solo competition, then we went to hear Dale's All Region Band play and we just got home. Back to the pool tomorrow and then it is just a whole new week. Fun, Fun,

Hi everyone

Long time no type

I hope everyone is doing well! We've been quite busy - but with nothing too exciting.

We're not interested in the Mexican Riviera either. We've already done that twice! The only reason we did it the second time is because it was Disney.

It looks like we'll be rid of both kids for the same week this summer. We might get in a vacation for two The problem will be agreeing on something! It's kind of hard when DH doesn't want to spend much money!
