Wow, I sure wish I lived in Florida so I could take advantage of those resident rates. I would love to go on a cruise around the holidays, but they are just too expensive for us.

Just got an email from All Seas Travel. DCL just opened up some rooms for Florida Resident rates......12/21 Wonder, 3 days!!

It fits perfect into the kids schedule and we will be home for Christmas Eve.

We are going to book them today!

Hey, we'll be IN Florida on Dec. 21, does that count? I've been checking daily for an affordable flight home later than the 21st. Not happening....

Check Christmas Day. We have flown on that day numerous times from Orlando to Michigan and because no one else seems to want to fly on that day, the prices have been very reasonable.

That's right.

Christmas is always a good day to fly. In the past we have opened gifts at our house, headed to the airport, got on a flight, and had Christmas dinner with family. It's a great way to go!

Thanks for the suggestion, tried it. Christmas Day is pretty booked but Christmas Eve isn't bad. But we only have a room until Dec. 22. Hmmm. Tried the 3 day cruise (that's a room), and the cheapest cabin is $1572! Wah! I want to live in FL!!!!

I think we will be coming home on the 21st. Hate to give up that last night at BCV in a 1 BR, but I'm sure someone will be thrilled to get it.

Well, we got a call (that means someone got in)

The lucky actor is......Nick. He got the role of Destiny, the precocious 4 yr old.
The director did say that he was VERY impressed with KT and that she was very talented, but her size was an issue. She just wasn't tall enough to make a convincing 12 yr old because Destiny would only be a few inches shorter than her. He encourages her to keep auditioning b/c she's good. That helped a little, but she's still pretty sad. With this being the WORLD PREMIER of this play (it's never been done before) she wanted so badly to be the original!

So that's where we stand. Rehearsals for Nick start Monday. Craziness will now commence for the next 6 weeks.

How cool-KT got a Build a Bear Spree - oh boy - is Supermarket Sweep still on? and I think a few visits to the store for research is in order. hmm - strategy and, teamwork should be all set...and maybe a few rounds of agility and sprint drills...
