We are finally in for cooler weather, after our week in the triple digits we will only be in the 90's. Thank goodness since Andy's(DS who did not join us on the DD) birthday is on Sunday and we are having yet another pool party. This year to be different I got beach towels for party favors and instead of cake I got Dippin Dots. I will probably still make him a cake just so he can have a "cake" but I am sure all the kids will be enjoying the dippin dots.
The dippin dots came in today and you might as well know we broke into it twice and boy are they GOOD!!!

I also gave him one of his presents early, we got him those shoes with the wheels in them. Luckly, I was able to find them on sale at Nordstrom otherwise he would not have gotten them. They are pretty expensive for a pair of tennis shoes with one wheel in the back. I remember when rollerblades were all the rage.

Gotta love getting older.

Been really busy here. Kids were in acting camp all week again. Add to that running what seemed like endless errands. Then it was get ready to travel, yet again. This time we're heading up to Cleveland, then Mike will continue onto Canada.....for the annual fishing trip.

I remember this weekend two years ago VERY well. We had just gotten Maggie and I didn't sleep for two nights!!!

Good morning all. We are still having serious flooding here in El Paso. We had another storm late yesterday afternoon that dumped 3" in less than an hour. Unbelievable.

They finally brought pump trucks into our street night before last to start pumping out the water. It is still deep, but a little more manageable.

Well, gotta go. We have lots of work to do around here today.

Hi! In 08 mine oldest would be 13 as well!!!eek!! He is starting 6th grade at middle school on Monday and I am worried for him! AND my 3rd child's middle name is Walker! haha Welcome to the official blabbermouth thread!

Well, since Cindy introduced herself, I might as well say HI to the blabbermouths too!! We're also going on the DVC member cruise in October, and thinking about this cruise in 2008.

In June '08, my DH Chris will have just turned 41, I'll be 38. We have 2 daughters - Emily will be 6 and Madison will have just turned 4. We live here in central FL in St. Petersburg (only 1.5 hrs to WDW).

We really think that this would be a fun group to cruise with and should be fun to passing the time until 06/08.

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been missing for a while! The past couple of weeks have flown by! Once it was concert time, then Ihad to prepare for Taylor's arrival back home! She got home safe and sound last Saturday, delivered by my parents! LOL Then they stayed the week with us and left yesterday. They have gone down to spend a week with my brother in Florida.
Now we are busy trying to prepare for school. My kids start on Monday! This summer has gone by so quickly! We also have a few things planned for the next 2 months. The kids and I will be making our annual kids and mom only trip and our 1st trip home since buying DVC...Will any of yall be on WDW last week of AUG thru Labor Day?

Then Steve and I have our no kids cruise mid Sept!!

Max's bday is also on Monday he is 7!

HI Amanda, long time no see! I think everybody is busy this time of year. School starts next Thursday here. Early, yes, but not as early as FL!

Pam, sounds like a mess. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I think we've had enough rain this summer! At least there weren't as many wildfires this year. It's always something.

But I think I just want to change my mind and get new ones so the date will be in AUG instead of May, am I allowed to do this? The dif was only like $100 total??

Today is the last day of Summer. Kids head back to school tomorrow!

It sure did go quickly, but then we had something planned every week. I guess that is what makes it fun.

We celebrated by having Mike and Joan over last night. Scallops Marsala, they were good, but I over cooked the scallops while trying to time everything else.

Matt has been enjoying the freedom of the Jeep. Friday night he went to the movies with a group while Sharon and I were in Orlando. Yesterday he installed a new security console so he can lock things up when at school. It was not important when I drove the jeep.....it's suddenly very important to him.

Hi!!!! We're back home. Had a GREAT trip - waaaaaay too HOT @ WDW, but since it's been so hot EVERYWHERE we figured "what better place to be?!!!"

It was so nice to see the Scubas again. Definitely a *highlight* of our wonderful trip. Congratulations, Matt, on the Drivers License. We know you'll drive responsibly.


I've been trying to catch up - y'all weren't too talkative while we were gone - but my computer is malfunctioning, so I may disappear again for awhile
