I enjoyed my second to last night of freedom. I went to Stonewoods for dinner and got a date for tomorrow night! I'll have to check with Sharon to see if I can go out on a date tomorrow nigth!

Well, according to Stacey, Sam has a girlfirend, so I guess you can have a date

The Saga of the bathroom retrofit continues.

The leak is fixed

I am spoiled Have I mentioned that.

Sam picked up the mirror after work on Monday....and installed it that night so it was waiting for me when I came home last night.

Did I mention I was spoiled?

When I talked with him on Monday night he said the store was out of them....the sneak....

By the way, where is everyone???????

Mike did sorta the same thing. While the kids were at my parents we gutted our cluttered basement and turned it into his podcast studio and exercise room. While I was driving up to get the kids, he was putting up a shelf down there to surprise me. He got everything fine tuned while I was gone. It really made a huge difference in the room.

We forgot Lisa too! Happy Belated Birthday, Lisa! How will we manage without Mary's list? Should have kept a copy.

When does school start for everyone? Official first day here is August 10.

We start on August 14 as well. Charley was off work yesterday, so he took the kids out to get some of the basics. I will probably takethem next week to finish up.

We had a nice evening last night. Since Charley was off, he and the kids took me out to State Line Barbecue for dinner for my birthday. The kids did a good job of cleaning up the house and then decorated everything for me as well as washing my car. Unfortunately, had to get up today to go to work. We just got through having cake. Think I will run out to the mall for lunch now.

School starts here Aug 7, I think.

Tonight is my last night of summer. It's my last night home alone. I opened a bottle of the cruise wine and am enjoying a movie. Not working, no chores, just enjoying my last night home alone.

I know some day I'll miss having everyone around, but until then I'm going to enjoy the little piece and quiet we do get.

Wow... I'm gone from here for 48 hours and there's not even a full page to catch up on!!!!!!

Chaperoned our church youth group trip to Busch Gardens yesterday... one of the hottest days of the summer, and the A/C on our bus wasn't working. Ick!!! Left the house at 7AM, got home at 1:30AM... YAWN!!!! I'm not as young as I used to be!!!! Just can't do that mid-week and be fully functional the next day!!!!!

ooh look... a tornado warning on the TV screen... not sure which county its for yet... the crawler moves much slower than I read... looks like time to turn off the computer.... just checked... not too close to home, but pretty close to my office...
