HAVE FUN! Say "hi" to Madonna!

Kevin....I'd been trying to get some good shots of that moon, also. Those are gorgeous!

Tell the girls to have fun....and wish Alicia luck for me!!

Here's something to ponder...

Why would a sleep aid (like Tylenol PM) come with a warning...

CAUTION! MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS!

DUH....isn't that the whole IDEA????

GENERAL COMMENT

In the last day or two, I have (out of sheer boredom) made my way to the Main Cruise Boards. I know...I'm really not supposed to do that (or maybe it's LISA who isn't supposed to) but any way, I did.

I noticed something.

There are some people who really do not belong on a cruise.

And particularly, these people should not be on a DISNEY cruise.

Thank you, Mary, for the reminder to Play Nice.

I was thinking yesterday about us being in "Double Digits" (for the week count) and couldn't wait to see Mary post it.

THANK YOU MARY!

And gaRry.....yes, we can book as a group. It would take some doing, though. Only one person would be allowed to book for those who want to be a group, and then that one person would be the one to submit all requests for excursions and such.
The only advantages to booking as a group with Disney are a special group gift (when we did this for Megan's wedding, it was the Photo Box) and a (I think) $50 room credit for each room. No discounts on bookings and no free rooms.

It takes eight staterooms to be a "group" on DCL. My TA said that she can also most likely get us one or two other group benefits if we were to all book with her. I think any TA would be able to do the same thing.
She had talked to me about it for the May cruise, and at that time, I think I remember her saying that they could possibly give one stateroom *free*.

Where is everybody?!! :confused3

(we were down the page too far - gotta give it a "bump"!! :teeth: )

I've had all the ceiling fans going this summer, and have kept the thermostat at 74°. The heck with the bill! Since I've been having my own private vacations in the tropics ;) it's the only way I've been able to stay semi-cool.

We had a lot of clouds today, maybe 4 drops of rain...but at least it kept the temps down.

And why does a cup of coffee say "Caution contents may be hot..." :confused3

Hi all. We got pounded with rain here today. This is the second weekend in a row with heavy rain. Very unusual here in the desert. We are supposed to have "dry" heat. Makes me really glad we have refrigerated air now instead of the evaporative coolers.

Stacey -- that sounds kinda cool that your travel agent could do the group room thing. If the bene's are good enough, maybe we should think about a group booking. I am sure we could get eight rooms

we'll take the *free* room and book us for one more room since there will be 6 of us cruising this time around, so stacey you take the lead and we'll join the band wagon. :teeth: :lmao: :rotfl2:

YEAH a T.O.P with Stacey and the "group" booking

I wouldn't mind having my TA do it, but after having done it myself for Megan's wedding, there's no way I'd take that on again!

Good morning all! Ashley woke up at 6:30 this morning. Why can't little ones sleep in on the weekends??? :confused3 And of course Bruce made no effort to get up. :furious: Last night he made a comment about me getting not sleeping in on weekends. He had no clue that I've been getting up because Ashley is awake. I'm pretty mad that he made not effort to let me sleep in. Off to get much-needed coffee now.

Hot hot hot here in London too.
I feel bad for the kids. They've been so busy they've hardly gotten to use the pool. This week they don't have acting camp or church camp and it's going to be over 90 every day. And this is the week my parents are taking them to Cleveland. :( I'm sure they'll be HOT HOT HOT and would rather be swimming!!!

Hot here in Central IL, too. It's supposed to be highs of 98 all week, and we take Caleb to horseback riding camp today for the week. They sleep in tree-houses and all meals are outside, cooked over a fire. I keep reminding him to dring LOTS of water this week. I'm sure they'll keep the kids cool and hose them off once in a while.
