This will be our first cruise without a Christmas tree and decorations.

We sailed Jan 2 - 5th (a 4 day) - still all decorated.
We sailed November 12 - 18 - started with decorations in the port - ended with the Tree up....

Shiann -- I am so glad you got your stuff. You were so kind and patient. It was so nice talking to you on the phone. I just wish I hadn't been so busy at work today when you called.

Today was total chaos at work. I started at 7:30 this morning and got through about 6:30 tonight. But the good thing is I don't have to go back for 2 1/2 weeks.

Well -- sitting here DISing and eating dinner. Really need to go and start packing, but I just don't know if I want to or not. Isn't that terrible. I kinda want to wait and start in the morning when I am fresh. I am just so beat tonight. I just can't believe that in less than 72 hours I will be in WDW. WOW, what a change of events.

Oh, I forgot that I wanted to ask a packing question. For those of you who fly down, do you pack beach towels. We did it last time, but not sure I want to this time since we don't have a verandah. What do you think??

Well I am back from my 'Business trip' to Turks & Caicos, it was an enjoyable time. Wecame home with tons of fish..and a decent base tan for our trip, now I am in recovery mode, which I should be fully recovered by the time we getto JB's. SInce there has been about 1500 posts since I left, there is no way I would be able to read them all.

Also, how long after Christmas does the Magic and CC stay holiday decorated?

When we just cruised this January, the decorations were down. We cruised Jan. 7th---the took the decorations down while they were docked at Port Canaveral....so the ppl before us had them.

back from dress rehearsal. what's with kids these days??? why can't an adult come over to their group and tell them they need to be quiet and they actually BE quiet. I had to tell one group so many times they finally looked at me and said "we're sick of you telling us to be quiet." So I said "well, if you'd just listen to me and BE quiet, I wouldn't have to tell you anymore, now would I???" GRRRRR

And, sorry, must vent. I'm a little sick of the parents who do NOTHING all year and do NOTHING for the dress rehearsal or the show. I've been working all year with THEIR girls and I won't even get to sit and enjoy the recital. Grrr.

Ok, maybe I need to go get a glass of wine. Heck, skip the glass, I've got a big Mickey tumbler around here somewhere!!!
