You had me worried about my black dress. It finally arrived today, and thank goodness it fits like a dream! WHEW!

Busy rest of the week here..........

Friday is my classes author's tea.
Saturday is Kel's birthday party.
Monday is her actual birthday.
Everything must be cleaned up in my classroom and all folders turned in before I can leave next Friday afternoon.

Too much runs through my mind when I get in bed at night!!!!!

I think I need a vacation!

I'm auditing a pilates mat training Thurs-Sunday. Friday night we were given theatre tickets. Saturday, Maggie has volleyball and a birthday party. Her birthday is Wednesday - but, with her last volleyball game Wednesday night - we may celebrate on Tuesday.

School is scaling down quickly - Maggie still has spelling this week but, Mike's class hasn't had any homework. Grades have to be turned in on Monday. Next week is a "fun" week for the kids.

Monday the 5th grade has a pool party
Tuesday the 3rd grade has a field trip.
and a 1/2 day on Thursday for the end of the week..

Did you get the shirt for the skirt? I did not care for the shirt so I got a brown tank shirt. I was going to pick up a beaded neckless but decided that I need to leave something so I can shop when we get there!

I did not get the shirt either. I have a new white Ron Jon shirt with pink hibiscus which works for me....

JB's UPDATE:

Still no rock shrimp. They don't know when they will have them. Guess we will just have to eat steam oysters (BTW - they grow their own)

But who cares? I have 21 people on my list who are going to kick off the cruise by eating seafood on the intercoastal watching the sunset.

We will be there -- I will not be eating oysters unless you wish to spend the week with me in the Hospital.....used to love them...that was before allergies.

Thanks for the welcome! I've been so busy (with having a baby and all, who is now 1) that I haven't been able to post or even read posts in over a year! I'm anxious to see how things go with having a 1 year old with us this time.

Forgot to brag on the kids a bit yesterday...

Both Mike and Maggie auditioned for the children's chorus in our theatre company's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" -

Got the call yesterday afternoon - they're in!!!

This will be a family affair this summer, John as tech director, I'm props mistress and the kids will be on stage!

Bragging rights allowed....

Well, it didn't take me too long to catch up......

We had a kind of freak thunderstorm go through this afternoon. Jared's ball game was cancelled. I couldn't get online with DSL because of it....and dial up is just too slow anymore.

We went to grab a quick bite to eat, rushed back for AI and House.

Tough choice on AI. They each have fantastic voices, and each have done some amazing songs and some pretty "bad" songs.
Boy, Simon was sure in a jolly mood, huh??

Yes, probably happy it is coming to an end!!!

$2.99 at toys r us. Complete with vented carrying case.
I remember the year we bought $16 toys at CC. Not only did I KNOW we had to bring them home, I was paranoid some little kid would walk off with the shovel.

This way, if all of the toys get stolen....OH WELL!!!

I need to bring along too cause I also don't want to buy that expensive stuff again with all those little molds. If they get stolen on the second CC it Yippee one less thing to worry with cause DS just won't leave them behing!!!!
