Mark -- as of last night, hers was in Aniston?? Alabama. It had been in Birmingham, which is close to where she lives, but then it got shipped to Aniston. I told her to call the terminal in Aniston and check on it so she could figure out where it was. We are going to check on it again this morning (vendor and I) to see if there is an update. Luckily on hers, she is not leaving until next week and we have a little more time

I hope we don't have all these problems with the wine delivery.

Oh, I guess we won't because Matt and Lisa will have them. I've come up with a way to Lisa to haul the cases of wine. :rotfl:

Pam, I thought y'all were going to WDW the week after the cruise. Did that all change since your DH got the week off next week? Or are you going to make it an extra long trip & head back to WDW after the cruise too? What happened with school?

We will be in Lake Mary tonight. That's close to Lisa's gym.

And we love Stonewoods. We eat there way to often and like their attitude for special orders. No problem.

We'll be at Stonewoods on the 26th. Sharon could join us while Lisa's at the gym. As of now, my sister, her girl friends & I will be eating there before going to see Mama Mia.

Went to Publix last night to pick up milk & passed through the wine aisle on the way out. I found of a bottle of Chateau Elan wine ... from here in GA. My hairdresser told me how good it is. We'll see. I guess it's more of a dessert wine. It says grapes with a hint of peach. I'll take it on the cruise.

Here's the write-up from their website.

Georgian Specialties

Summer Wine – This award winner is a semisweet, light-bodied wine with the distinctive taste of muscadines synergized with the delicate flavors of fresh peaches. Its lively taste complements fruit salads, desserts and picnic fare, and is perfect for sipping on hot summer days as well as cold winter nights. Its unique and exceptional taste makes it Château Élan’s best seller. This is the perfect dessert wine, and is best served chilled.

I think I've lost my mind! Yesterday I invited the day care director & her little girl over to our house before dance recital dress rehearsal on Tues. evening. They live too far away to go home after school & come back here for rehearsal. My house is a total wreck right now. I hoping that will give me incentive to clean this weekend. I really would like to come home to a clean house after the cruise since the girls recital will be the day after we return (Sun., June 4).

I can answer for my mom on that. Since I was exempt from all my finals, we are able to leave on Monday now. Today is officially my last day of school. Besides, Monday was going to be review for the exams anyway so I am not missing anything.

Ray gets back from his 'mini-vacation' this afternoon... which means it's REALLY crunch time... most of the stuff that needs to be packed is in a heap on the bed in the guest room... its just a matter of actually PUTTING it into suitcases... and narrowing down some of my wardrobe choices.

I lost interest in trying to do it once I figured out that Ray's snorkel fins are too long to fit in the suitcase that all the OTHER snorkel gear fits in perfectly. (Hmm... wonder if he'd notice if I lopped the ends off them???)

I planned on getting a lot done last night, but instead, had to make Christopher a knight costume for Medieval Day at school today. (He wanted me to wrap him head-to-toe in tin foil... I advised him against it, as it should be 92 by lunchtime. He'd be a baked potato by then!!!!)

So Scuba... are you doing the 'pre-flight check' at JB's for lunch to make sure its 'up to par' (as if it wouldn't be) today???

Hey girl... I think it's time to buy a cow!!! Two milk stops in 2 days???!!!!! No wonder you can't get any packing done!!! Get out of the grocery store!!! :rotfl:

And, gee... if I knew you were going, I would have had you pick me up some heavy duty tin foil for Christopher's costume... it would have saved me the trip! (Besides... I went in for tin foil, and walked out $57 later...)

More like roast potato. And the image that popped into my head is that would make him Chrisopher Knight.. you could give him a poster of a fitness machine and he'd be set..

(The inside joke for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, the actor CK from Brady Bunch is on an infomercial for some fitness contraption now, it's been running very heavy as one of those standby commercials on cable channels on DirecTV)

Been awhile since I seen a top!

Hi Angie -- Yes, my son posted right. I have talked to both schools and we got the kids out early. Changed the flights, hotels, etc. and now we are on our way on Monday....

He's Sir Christopher of the Order of the Greyhound... (we have a greyhound)... his shield and sword are made of coroplast (gotta love having a professional sign shop in my department)... hopefully the sword will last for Pirate Night... the shield has a large blue greyhound crest on it... he's got a real hard hat (thanks to Grampa) covered in tinfoil with a foil visor on the front... a foil covered beer flat makes his chest and back armor... grey shirt and shorts, and foil covered sneakers... he loves it.

He even said to me last night "Thanks for helping me make a homemade costume"... most of the kids go out and buy stuff... THATS NO FUN" (Maybe the conversation we had the day before about him not appreciating all that we do for him actually sunk in!!!)
