We have always found this true. You seem to get into a pattern and run into the same people and then never see others. We were really in sync with Laura and Dwight and saw them all the time in the beginning and then not at all on the last couple of days. I think it was Thursday before I saw Amanda. I'm happy with everyone we got to spend time with but wish there was more time to visit with others we didn't see. That's why I think the idea of a 2nd later DIS meet is a good idea for future cruises.

I really think that's a good idea. I was thinking that about halfway thru the cruise--- when I kept just seeing Amanda and Sherry the entire trip. I was thinking man, they are here somewhere- but without the shirt or pins- I don't recognize them or know they are part of the disboard! They gotta be here somewhere. So midway thru the cruise I was wishing we had another Dismeet- one where I'd pay more attention to faces so I'd recognize people later on. LOL
Eventually I saw Stacey a few times too- (or rather she saw me and talked to me- thank goodness or I might not have noticed her either- where was I? In my own world/head the entire time or what? LOL) but that was pretty much it except the short moment I saw Sharon also and then Sandi on the Mayan excursion. THAT'S IT. And I think it was mostly due to just not recognizing people. Honestly even in the dining area where I KNEW double scoop group people were sitting in that general area I could walk by and not be sure they were DIS'ers or not- so it's no surprise that I didn't recognize them (or they me) on other areas of the ship!

I kept seeing Amanda and Sherry so often I kept getting the two confused with one another. LOL Sorry about that girls!

Ps. no one ever asked us if we were celebrating anything special except Rishi when we were at Palo dinner.

Good morning cruisers!!!​

I think I've talked Augie into doing another cruise (wasn't too hard of a sell). Probably not until 2008, but I was telling him how a lot of you guys "missed" stuff on the cruise, like us, and want a "do-over". When do 2008 dates come out? How about the same time of year, 2008? Does that sound good to everyone? That gives us almost 2 years to save and pay that puppy off. C'mon---what-a-ya say???? I've got the bug.

I'm all for that! We're booked now for Dec '07 and figured we'd rebook for end of school/early summer 2008 when the dates came out. The past week we've wondered if we should just stay with the Dec 07 (primarily because we're not sure we can wait till '08 to go again! LOL) but we can definitely wait if it ends up being another cruise where lots of DIS'ers are going! Maybe with a "do over" I can actually make the time and effort to SEE some of y'all during the cruise. LOL

I finally have gotten the pictures sorted out and divided into two different catagories;

General vacation shots that include onboard pictures.

and underwater diving shots of both Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Both of these are in a slideshow format.

There are some funny ones at the end of the general shots with our tables cutting up...... imagine that???

Ohmygosh- in picure 149 of the general pictures where everyone is playing with spoons- y'all actually got a picture of Jeff- way off in the distance... see him back there? I'm pretty sure he was sitting alone while I took the kids to the lab & club. LOL!!!!!!!!!

Now that everyone has seen Kevin's pictures you might understand why I don't spend a great deal of effort taking them or fixing them. It's just not my thing and I can always steal Kevins.

However, I did get one picture that I have not seen anyone post.

I had a great trip parasailing and was pulled right in front of the ship. Thankfully I had my camera with me and was able to get some great shots of the ship.

Yesterday the kids received backpacks from the tour company for our trip to Alaska.

Hard to think that in 30 days we are flying to Alaska for a week.

I'm having a tough time shifting from the cruise to planning for Alaska.

Guess it is time to make those final arrangements. Molly, the kind and gentle dog, will be so excited to spend another week at VIP.

That was the last night of the cruise, and MAX the brat on the left side by Steve was being bratty. He would not let anyone take his picture. Were you there when Stacy tried to take his pic? LOL She took it anyway! I bet that was a beautiful one! HAHA

They asked our table on the first night. Came to everyone and asked the same question; "Are you celebrating anything special"??

Stacey replied that Jay was up and dressed........

We had a anniversary and a birthday last month,

We had several different "reasons" to celebrate.

I think we were either late for dinner that night or too busy chatting because about day 4 our waiter asked "how come you are wearing a Happy Birthday button and you did not tell me" ... So guess what - I got a cake the next day!!!!

Mark - thanks again for the button and for telling everyone it was my 32nd Birthday!!!!!
