Good rule... wish I would have thought to put THAT on the kids list of "Rules to Cruise By"... but its a tough one to explain!!! :rotfl2:

Either you made it out of the pool or you decided to just take the laptop in with you. Nice that you picked this topic as your first post of the day.

Lisa mentioned at dinner that she had a great conversation about DCL at school. Wonder who that was with?

Hmm... maybe THAT would motivate Elizabeth to clean HER room!!!!

(Though, her magic way of getting rid of those piles is to shove them somewhere else that she thinks I won't look... between the furniture & the wall, UNDER HER BATHROOM SINK, etc., etc., etc. )

He ended up doing a great job. I won't even ask what went out in the two garbage bags. He found a $25 check among other things.

He surprised Sharon with the results. It remined me of Trading Places where they get to see the room for the first time. Big hugs all around. :thumbsup2

Sometimes they do surprise us!!

I just hope he did not pull any muscles. We all need him to carry the wine. :rotfl:

That's my take on Matt too!! (of course you know him better)

Just doing "stuff" and seeing "people".........

If he surfed, he would be the prefect surfer dud. :rotfl2:

Mmmmm, lets do the math.... 12 bottles in a case, multiply that times six cases...... YES !! that is more than 26 bottles!

Actually these come in six packs which are much easier to store, handle, and haul.

I'm estimating 40 bottles by time we are all done. Maybe I could use one of those beer hand carts.

Yeah, but according to Mark and Mary's website, there are only 20 bottles accounted for. 12 bottles x 6 cases is 72 bottles. That makes 52 extra bottles....???? :confused3 Surely even Jim can't drink THAT much in a week!

I'll give it the old college try.

Actually, there have been a few more ordered since Mary and Mark posted. And 6 bottles per case.

And then there is the Banfi.....

I think people are just ordering more so they can see me bend over with my green thong on. :rotfl2: Just the thought sound be enough to ........

For those of you whom I sailed with on the 10 day....you MIGHT want to come by and get at good laugh at one of the door signs I made up....was bored and got crazy. :) I won't put it up immediately....maybe the next day or so when ohiomickey isn't looking! :lmao: :lmao:

CRUISE QUESTION:

Has anyone looked at or done the Tequila Tasting?

I'm considering it, but can not find out much about it. I've done the wine tasting and have enjoyed it.

For 2 Bottles, 1 Banfi and 1 special label we will let you rent a hand cart, actually our kids, 1 bottle per kid to assist in the smuggling of, I mean the delivery of the wine.....

Happy Mother's Day to all.....

We went to Quaker Steak and Lube (believe it or not Lauren was teasing when she picked it - but Frances said OK) - Lauren and I had hot wings (yes Hot - I always love the look on the staff's face when Lauren orders hot)... Frances had a Pittsburgh steak salad (comes with fries on the salad)... and then Frances had the mother's day dessert - chocolate brownie with hot fudge and vanilla ice cream.

Now we' re all watching tv... Lauren is cleaning her room....

So far, no surprises here for Mother's Day. I did hear someone say that since there are already 2 dozen roses in the house from Jordan's birthday, we don't really need any more....

I have a feeling it's going to be Taco Bell again this year.

Mothers Day here was great. Matt gave me his FCAT writing score - IT WAS GREAT!!!!! (A truly "sylvan" moment - I cried) and he cleaned his room. Jim has my reaction on video. I have been "begging" him for months to do this, do this was a wonderful surprise.

Lisa (with Jim's help) got the Poster we had made of her at her Regional Competion (I wish there was some way to post it). It features her "saluting" so you can see her straight on and then four other action shots (Split Leap at 180; a pose from her floor routine, at the top of her giant on the bar and in flight twising on her bar dismount)

For dinner we had steaks, capri salad, asparagus and for dessert - peanut butter brownies - YUM YUM

I asked for clean bedrooms..didn't get them. You are a lucky woman!!

I did get a handmade card written in Spanish. Will have to send Jordan's Spanish teacher a thank-you note!

They had martini tasting on November - we signed up but had so much fun at beer tasting#1 - we went back for an advanced course... :teeth:

It sounds like all the mothers had a wonderful day. We did too...Back from taking mine home....stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up a few cruise related items...Forgot the list....Also forgot magnets for door signs. etc etc.

oh well, there is still time....

Had a nice Mother's Day here too... Started last night when we went out to dinner with my parents and grandmother. Jim and Erin had gone out in the afternoon and gotten all the moms pink roses, which Erin distributed with great pride. When we got home, Erin spent the night in my mom's room instead of ours. (She usually sleeps in her sleeping bag in our room when we're at my parents' house, and her tossing and turning keeps me up for half the night.) We spent the morning with my parents, had a yummy lunch, and then headed for home. Tonight we went to my favorite Italian restaurant for dinner, and Erin was SO well behaved! :goodvibes Such a little lady! And the day ended perfectly when she went to bed really well too. Ah...

The only downer to the day was on the way home when Jim and I talked about how poorly Uno is doing. We hadn't taken him to my parents' in about a year, and this trip really showed us how much he's changed. The sad thing is, he's not sick! He has the canine version of MS, but other than that, he's really healthy (which is amazing for a 14-year-old Lab). But he has a lot of trouble getting up, his back legs don't work too well, so he walks funny and can't really sit anymore. But he's not in pain. So it's a hard place to be. We know we're going to probably have to make some really hard decisions over the summer, and we're not looking forward to it. And to have this talk on Mother's Day, when for 14 years I've thought of him as my "baby," - that was really tough. :sad1:

Heavy sigh...
