Off to bed for me. I'm beat!

All this talk of how much weight everyone has gained & what did I do tonight? Bake cookies! I needed dessert.

Time to go clear off the bed & dive in.

Oh ... girls had their dance recital today. They both did a great job. Ashley didn't dance much during dress rehearsal but you should have seen her on the stage this afternoon. They were all so cute!

Ang

Ashley was waiting until the audience got there!

Hope your family had a good time, Ang. When we saw you at the DIS meet, the girls looked pretty unhappy. I think having the meet at nap time is tough on the little ones. Did they spend any time at the Club?

You don't know the whole story! We watched the Costa Maya scuba DVD this afternoon. Started laughing when the videographer focused on Alicia and Kevin, he was acting goofy and gave her a hug. She actually rolled her eyes underwater. We had to watch that again. Then Jim was trying to get Matt to do the gopher with him. Jim had to do the Gopher for a long time before Matt (kind of) joined in. It was "How to embarrass your teens underwater 101".

The charge is $2 for braids that are close to the scalp. They are in the front. The ones that are loose from the head are $1 a braid. It can get very expensive, but my DD 9 loves them. We did 14 this time. Last cruise we had 22. We did not do the beads because they turn gummy on her hair, YUCK!

PS If everyone could send a little pixie dust towards Rob and Susan (DVCcruise) they are in Montgomery househunting and only have a few days to do so!
Amanda,

Thanks a ton and keep the pixiedust: coming. We had the same rental car issues as Pam :furious: , but we were fortunate enough to have another car reserved from Budget. They were kind enough to honor the really good deal that National offered. :worship: We will push Budget to future cruisers.

We are in Montgomery and did our first day of house hunting. (I think we saw about 20 houses). We were crazy enough to look at houses that were out of our price range, so now we're trying to "rework" our original numbers. :confused3 Wish us luck we're going to keep adjusting our criteria and keep searching!

I'll have to read the "live" thread later. It was too long!

Good night!

Good Morning All - Today back to work.......sigh, Sam is already there.....sigh,

But we get to tell stories of the cruise..... :goodvibes

Safe Travels to those of you who are not yet back home.

Great pictures everyone! Once we got on board, I regretted not bringing the digital still camera. We only brought the camcorder. I did have some disposable underwater cameras that I brought to the beaches. Hopefully some of those came out decent.

Ang

I did mainly video and it sure does tell the WHOLE story, much better than pictures. Hearing the words make it so much better. Right Stacey!!! :lmao:

Good Morning All!

Doing the Virgil Thing - everyone was on vacation and I still have tons of pages to catch up on now on TWO threads...

Rolled into Houston around midnight - John just left for work, kids are still asleep and I have the laptop catching up on DIS. Haven't the urge to start laundry yet.

No scale in the house - can't see how much I gained.

I have to agree on the wonderful DIS kids and especially impressed with the teens! Alicia and Maggie played with the stop animation camera in ocean quest on the first day - Maggie had so much fun helping create the movies. Jared would stop in the hall to talk when ever we'd see him. Matt willingly joined us for dessert after the rest of the teens deserted him at dinner. I know I'm forgetting a few more of the teen encounters.

The tweens and tag-alongs were a fun group - Mike and Maggie had a blast and there was always someone with to swim or play pingpong. Special thanks to Susan and Rob for liberating the kids from Scuttles Cove so they could spend the afternoon with Katie and Jake while we were at Serenity. The kids had a great time at their very own table with Susan's kids and Amanda's kids - they willingly went to dinner everynight.

Several times, I'd hear "HEY, I KNOW YOU!!!!" - I'd look around and there's Christopher waving and grinning...

Whites are in the dryer.
Darks are washing.

whew! I'm tired...........

Dave had to go out at 2:30 this morning, for something work related.......
As he kissed me goodbye, he mentioned something about this was the time we were usually rolling into our cabin on the cruise. :rotfl2:

October can't come soon enough for me!!!!

Guess I better get back to walking everyday, if I'm wearing the same clothes....... ;)

Happy Monday to all!

Kiki.....did Elizabeth get her email from Kel?
