All this talking about packing makes me think I should start packing some clothes. I got all the wine packed, but have nothing to wear.

No worry, I got tomorrow night.

As someone reminded me today ( SHE who will not be named)....enough wine, who needs clothes?????

OMG OMG- in less than 12hrs we'll be on the plane heading towards MCO... in about 7hrs we'll be leaving the house to head towards the airport. Am I packed? Well heck no. LOL But atleast I'm "almost" packed. I have my lists and pretty much have everything sitting out on the couches ready to BE packed. LOL I just hate packing stuff then finding something else that needs to go and rearranging/etc. so I'm getting it all out and THEN figuring out what will go where in what luggage.

Basically waiting for the kids to get to sleep so I can do it all in peace. I probably won't sleep at all tonight since about the time we need to leave (to beat Dallas morning traffic) is pretty close to when I normally go to sleep! Ah well- I'll get sleep on the flight (or atleast rest- I know the kids will sleep on the way there and probably on the flight- because they probably won't go to sleep until late tonight LOL) and tomorrow is basically just at the resort the rest of the day and dinner with Cindy... good night's rest and MK all day Friday!

Ohmy... our "dream" vacation (of 3yrs) is finally about to happen! First time GF, first time staying concierge (first time not value resort as a matter of fact LOL) and first cruise.... FINALLY!

Can't wait to meet you all on Saturday! I better get back to getting packed and prepared to go!

I am so aggravated today. My YDS (Andrew) has had a runny (green) nose for over a week and complains that his ear is hurting, so like the good mom that I try to be, I take him to the pediatrician, who will admit that he has fluid on his ear BUT won't give us any medicine. I am well aware that the infections can be either viral or bacterial. (All 3 of my children have had more than one set of tubes! They have had more ear infections than I can count on all my fingers, toes, and hairs on my head! And we didn't treat all of the infections with drugs.) All I wanted was an antibiotic just in case Saturday or Sunday morning he decides to spike a fever and be miserable, I would be prepared. I guess that this is just foolish to the DRs. ARRGHHH.

Sorry for my ranting! I feel better now.

Andrew doesn't, so I'm taking him to his ENT tomorrow pm.

Please know that if anything happens, Mike has an otoscope and we have at least *some* antibiotics (mostly pills though, but we do have some liquids that can be reconstituted)..... on the DVC member cruise we had a DISer bring her dd to Mike b/c she had croup pretty bad and it was after hours. Would have cost her something like $140 just to GO to the medical office....that's BEFORE any drugs!!!

So, seriously. Of course, he's not opening a free clinic for well checks and shots, but if there really is something that can't wait....

Don't know what the new AI's final song was....Ryan said "and now, ladies and gentleman, please welcome......" and our Tivo asked us if we wanted to delete or save. Obviously AI went over a bit and Tivo didn't know.

We JUST finished watching AI....did it while we packed. We SWORE we were packing LIGHT this time but our suitcases are packed to the brim!

Oh...and we went out and bought a portable DVD player for the kids so they could use it on the plane. So now we're schleping that!

Can I just tell you all that I have the most wonderful husband. I love Dumbo and a trip to WDW just doesn't seem complete without a trip to the Magic Kingdom and a visit to Dumbo in the hub. Well we won't be doing that this trip. So I came home today to find this waiting for me:

Isn't he adorable? Don't know exactly where we will put him yet but I love him! And I love the man who gave him to me!

OMG...He's DARLING! I'm going to do the "dead cockroach"! I want one!!!!!!!!

Okay...I have the cruise ship Mickey and Minnie...no need to whine....much....

WAY TO GO MARK! You just made the other Disney hubbies look really baaaaad.

Thankfully, Elizabeth is already into my shoe size... (not that it has really cut down on packing, but it certainly gives each of us more options!!!)

Jordan, too. It's really gotten us out of a pinch more than once. She comes in and says "I NEED a pair of shoes for ...*whatever*..." and she can go in my room and try one of my 65 pairs!
In fact, I think she's bringing one of mine with her.

Hello everyone,

I also am procrastinating................

8th grade promotion went well - except for there were technical difficulties with the music and microphone system. They started 25 minutes late. We went to dinner at Red Robin and had to wait forever for a table along with everyone else from the school district. We didn't get seated til shortly after 9.

In 6.5 hours I can do online check-in for our first flight on Southwest Friday.....perhaps I should just stay up til then

I'm getting a pedicure tomorrow (more procrastination). Actually, a friend of mine is a manicurist - she only does natural nails. She doesn't like working with the artificial stuff. Anyway, I made a couple of cheesecakes and keylime pies for a "tea" she had so she's doing my nails for me. I've gotta drive across town though.........

Arrived at WDW today (GF) for a couple days before the cruise.

Checking in for work email and the boards while everyone else is sleeping.

My room is close enough to one of hte "HotSpots" that I can connect wireless so I can sit on my balcony and connect. (DCL really needs to get in room wifi)

Safe travels to all over the next few days.
