5/24/24, PVB association license amendment (5/30/24 updated to Approved)…confirmed adding tower weeks

If a club level would have to be supported by Dues, then I am a big no. I have no desire to subsidize a club level lounge. Let the people that stay there pay for that.
If I understand the AKV POS, they made the lounge a common element of DVC and then they contract with Disney to run but those costs are born by Disney, not owners,

The extra points assigned to the club level rooms, if club level is ended…and it can be…would simply be given back to other rooms. It spells out how that works..

So, if club level was to be included, some of those costs would be part of the budge in some way.

I highly doubt DVC will ever get a club level outside of AKV. When Disney added DVC to Jambo house, I think they "transferred" the worst CL room views to DVC along with the rooms on the 5th floor. I wouldn't pay CL pricing for those views of roofs. Jambo house originally did not have a DVC component. Poly has the CL in the Hawaii longhouse and I don't see DVC wanting to run a CL lounge without a hotel component in the building.

I personally hope they take a breather.... I think DVC is overextending itself... Unless the plan is to do more Riviera style teardown and conversions from Moderate to Deluxe...
I agree.

Here is what they already have. Based on DVCNews April sales data.
Riviera has roughly 2.3 million points to sell.
VDH has roughly 2.5 million points to sell.
CFW has roughly 2.6 million points to sell.
Guessing PVB tower is another 4 million points.

That's 11.4 million points to sell (excluding Aulani).

April 2024 was 120K points sold. At that rate, it's going to take 95 months or 7 years.
Even if sales jump to 150k/month. That is 76 months or more than 6 years.
Either way, that takes sales into 2030 or later.

What happens if a recession hits?

DVC makes it rain discounts! 💸💸💸

(Edit to add— I’m not rooting for an unemployment-driven recession, but if it happens and we get big price breaks, I will be adding points.)

I just noticed when the timeshare weeks were added to VGF, the comment indicates the POS was updated. If they follow VGF BPK addition, will the updated POS be available? Will it provide any more details that we are all waiting for?

Here is a screenshot of the VGF amendment adding BPK timeshare weeks.

I wonder if we might be receiving a lot more details the day after the PVB amendment review is completed? Purely guessing, but until then they won't release any details because it could be rejected???

The updates to the POS would indeed give us more info for sure.

Plus, I am going to guess that the multi site POS would be updated as well.

My guess is the same as you…no info on specifics until the license is approved.

Where will we see updates to POS etc? Will it show up like the covenants and declarations of CFW? Or, because it’s an addition, it doesn’t need to be filed that way?
https://cdn1.parksmedia.wdprapps.di...-docs/POLYV_Insert_12.2022_clean_12222022.pdf The DBPR needs to approve the POS updates first. I'm not sure if this is a live link and the updates will auto populate here, or if there will be a new link. There was a February update when the INC changed to LLC https://cdn1.parksmedia.wdprapps.di...POLYV_POS_Insert_01-2024_clean-02-01-2024.pdf
