5/23 update p15 -- Strollin' & Boozin' 2008: Ain't No Baby Gonna Slow Us Down!

So you know what I ended up buying. And if I have to choose between my new ticket and Scooner, sorry hon. Clive (as in Owen - my new 10 day, no-expiry, water parks, park-hopper pass) is my new favorite.
new here, and enjoying it, that is what we have done and yes it is alot of money up front, but then we had tickets for our last 3 trips and that was awesome not having to pay for tickets each time we went.

First stop is Morocco. We dine on a Chicken Brewat Roll and Kory enjoys a Casa Beer.

that sounds and looks really good.

so I offer her a soy sauce shooter. I appreciate that they put it into a toddler-friendly packet.

Whoa, that soy sauce shooter when right to my head!
r u serious about the soy sauce shooter.
or was that one of hte inside jokes from pervious trips.

10:59am and not in WS? My DH would be appalled. He and a friend's DH (we commonly vacation with, we resemble what it would look like if Clampets and Griswold's were cousins and traveled together) found a place in AK that serves beginning at 9:30am. These are no amatuers.

Memories, on DS#1's 3rd trip at 15 months we had a pic of him standing on the bar of the R&C before it even opened for business for the day. The only reason it took till his 3rd trip was he couldn't stand before then.....

As someone who worked really hard on my Trip Report last year and I am glad to see it still alive on the boards, why is the posting option taken away from those old reports. I have people email and PM me now after reading the report, but it would be great to see it continue to live on by others being allowed to post it.
Quite honestly it makes me want to finish a report slower so it doesn't go to the Trip Report "grave yard"
Any way this could change?

I'm so glad you found your notes and finally started your TR!

Your daughter is beautiful! A perfect combination of the two of you.

If this was really a "first" trip for Scooner wouldn't you have gone to the MK first? ;)

This is hysterical.

Thanks! :flower3:

You didn't?!?!

You did!!! :rotfl2:

Oh yes, I'm very familiar with these games.

No sweat - that's what the cup holders on the stroller are for!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yeah it's kinda hard to double fist and push a stroller. She's gonna need to learn to roll her own stroller soon.

Love your trip report!! Hilarious! Can't wait for the next installment! :rotfl2:

Thanks! My goal is to have it completely done by our next trip in 5 weeks. That is going to be so hard for me since I spend about 5-6 hours on each installment. :upsidedow I'm insane, I know.

Woohoo you're back! Hilarious as always. Best thing to read at the start of a long sleepy workday! :thumbsup2

At least I didn't put you to sleep! :cool1:

Subbing! Awesome report, I sooooo can't wait to hear the rest.

Thanks! Are you sure you know what you are getting into? ha!

what? you didn't read the other reports? You are gonna get it!

:rotfl: Sounds like the Clampets, Griswolds and vettechick99s should drink around the world some day!

DS is so cute! Is he begging to go back yet? I have been working on Scooner - she knows Mickey Mouse (Mo Mo) and Pooh, but that's as far as we've gotten. I hope after our next trip she'll be crying on the way home so Kory has to book another trip soon!

What was your report from last year?

I think I am one of those to blame for all the changes on this board. Well, me and Melly. :guilty: Our reports were filled with lots of conversations and that didn't set well with others. So reports are closed to keep the popular ones from constantly getting bumped and taking up the first page. But if you want to continue a report, you can always do that on the community board. There are several over there!

I'm so glad you found your notes and finally started your TR!

Thank you! I'm so glad she got my curly hair and his blue eyes. That's why I married him!

Ha, someone finally noticed! We figured that since she didn't know one park from the next, we could start with Epcot. But we did spend two mornings at MK so there is plenty of magical goodness to come.

:rotfl:

Those Brits do love their waterparks...::yes::

You haven't lost your touch, Ally. This long-awaited chapter didn't disappoint! And your chicklette is still oh-so-adorable!!! Tough, too, considering the Beverly reaction.;)

What could be better than Kevin Stringer in a speedo? Hmm, maybe Kevin Stringer in a speedo buying me a dozen Zooberries (FauntleroyFAN07, now that is an old trip report reference! Get reading!)

Vettechick,
Thanks for posting your TR.
I remember reading your previous trip reports. I really enjoyed them.:thumbsup2
I can't believe I'm getting in on this one from the start (sort of)...

OK enough of that when's the next installment going to be ready?:rotfl2:

Still loving it! She is SO cute! I have GOT to find me a blue-eyed man and get me one of those!

I have green eyes and my wife was really hoping that our children would have "colored" eyes. Well, they both have brown eyes like their mother.
Those darn recessive genes don't always come through.:rotfl:

Good luck

I'm working on it now. :thumbsup2 The only thing that's gonna hold it up is that all my pictures are on my corrupt computer and I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to upload them! :crazy2:

We must have strong recessive genes in my family. My sister is brown-eyed, married a brown-eyed guy and they have a child with the most gorgeous blue eyes. If she didn't look like her daddy, I'd say my sister's a floozy!

:goodvibes Great update! Did you enjoy staying at CSR this time? Where are you staying on your upcoming trip?

Too funny about being glad she's a C-Section baby :). I'm hoping when I have kids they either don't inherit my big ol' head or that they're C-Section as well.

And I hope you and Clive have many happy days together ;)

I was successful in getting that malware off my parent's computer. I downloaded a copy of Spyware Doctor. If you can't get a IE window to come up, download it on your laptop to a thumbdrive or you can buy a copy at Best Buy or online on CD. When you get the software installed on the corrupt machine, then do the deepest scan you can. The spyware is in the registry and it may take a couple of scans to completely get rid of it.

You can also use Adaware from lavasoft but again you will need to do a really deep scan on your harddrive.

HTH--Loving the reports!

Dang! I'll just adopt a kid that already has "colored" eyes. Done.

Yay! Another vettechick report :thumbsup2 Your daughter is just adorable!! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear all about her first trip - we'll be taking our baby girl down at 15 months in December...seems like SO far away....

We'll definitely be putting the cupholders on her stroller to some good use around the World! ;)

Ally, you ain't right, and I love ya for it!

Keep it coming.

Jam

Love it!

The part about the Jew seminar :rotfl2: Classic! I too have been a victim of impaired hearing due to the effects of alcohol. Don't blame you one bit ;)

And all the pictures of Scooner are adorable! She is such a cutie :goodvibes

Can't wait to read more!

Just found this report - I lurked on all of the other - loved them!!

Your daughter is beautiful - cannot wait to read the rest.

:goodvibes

Can't believe I just found this! YEAH - love your TR's!

Hi Ally,
So great to read this! Could not come at a more perfect time!!! And there is a part deux coming in 5 weeks??? Good times!!!

ST is just beautiful!! What a great age she is. Should be able to throw back a couple of Fiesta Margaritas before a Mickey Mouse Light Spinner Thingy novelty wears off!!!

Woohoo! I totally dropped the proverbial PM ball when we were talking before your trip, and randomly remembered today that I never read your report. Thinking that, once again, I would be late to the party, I ventured over to try and dig said report out of its grave..... only to find your internet has prevented you from doing much of it. Sweet! (You know, for me).
