5/15/2011 - Disney Dream 4nt Bahamas - May 15, 2011

We are doing a day at Universal to check out the Harry Potter thing the day before the cruise. I want to stay in a Grand Villa one day!

Not sure what we're going to do for her b-day. Pretty cool enough that she gets to celebrate on CC - I am hoping the ship's staff can help me with some ideas.

I just told Sarah about Abby and she is SOOO EXCITED - she's like "we're going to be BEST FRIENDS!". She loves making new friends... is not shy at all, and be prepared for her to non-stop talk your ear off :)

LOL, It sounds like Sarah and Abby are going to get along just fine! It's starting to feel awfully real as we approach the "Paid In Full" date... need to make sure I get it paid off once the holiday is over.

Can't wait to plan some more... I'll try to remember to check back here more often!

Hola everyone! Hope you've survived all this funky weather (wherever you are, it certainly seems to be strange ;) ), and the holiday season. I can't believe we are THIS close to actually being in the same year as our vacation. Finally! Really looking forward to the pics from all the preview cruises this next month. :cool1: We just rebooked our WDW vacation through a TA who had an amazing deal for our time period...yay! Just in time for Christmas, too ;) ADR's are booked (and rebooked). Things are really coming together!

Soooo looking forward to the reports, videos and pics that will start flying in over the next few weeks!

:cheer2::cheer2: Happy New Year Everyone!!!:cheer2::cheer2:

I justed booked our 4th Disney cruise for May 15-19. It will be myself, Kelli my mom and 3 of my 4 children. Two of my sons Peyton (12) and Cameron (7). Also, my DD Anna Claire (5). We are doing this cruise to celebrate her 5th bday. The last cruise 2 years ago, we participated in the Fish Extender or Fish Hook activity and it was one of the cruise highlights for my children. I would love to be included on this cruise, too. I highly recommend this. Look forward to hearing from others.

Welcome aboard Kelli!!!
My dd Madigan will be happy to hear there is another girl in her age group :)

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new cruisers! :cheer2:

I just can't get enough of all these great pictures we've been seeing lately. The Dream has turned out even better than I imagined, and I can't wait for Monday when the people on the first preview cruise return -- hopefully they'll start posting ASAP.

It just occurred to me that if we have any Platinum or Concierge on this thread, you are just days away from booking your extras. Very exciting! (and hopefully you'll rush back to this thread and give us the scoop. ;) Errrrr...no pressure. :rolleyes1 )

I would love to participate in a FE!!

Getting super excited - HURRY UP MAY!!!

Welcome! When is Anna Claire's birthday? So far we have 2 birthdays on the 17th (one being my daughter Sarah, turning 9).

I can't believe we're only a month away from booking stuff already! We are 10 days away from our 2 day cruise to nowhere on the Wonder and I can't wait!! We haven't cruised on Disney in over 2 years and now we get 2 in 4 months :)

I'm starting to get nervous about our 5/15/11 Cruise on the Dream. My concern is that all of the best shore excursions and reservations for Remy will be snagged by Platinum and Gold Castaway club members before we have a chance to book. I was wondering how many disboarders from each Castaway Club level were planning on traveling on this date.:worried:

This is our first cruise, so we aren't Castaway Club members, but our wedding package does come with Concierge service, so we get to book on the 15th. We're booking Palo dinner (comes with the wedding) 5/17, Palo brunch, Catamaran Snorkel excursion in Nassau, and at Castaway Cay we're getting the Extreme getaway package and as I surprise for my fiance we're booking the last parasailing excursion of the day. With the wedding on Castaway Cay as well we know we won't have time to use everything, we really just want to snorkel, parasail, the stingrays, and bike (time permitting). I'm pretty sure we won't have time for the bikes, and we definitely won't have time for the floats, but we're going to let our families use what we don't.

Congratulations! Great choice on going with DCL for your first cruise!

we are GOLD and will not be booking Palo or Remy.
.
On past cruises they took only a set number of reservations as each group of returning cruisers were eligible to book. More seats were available when people boarded by going to a specific site and waiting in line. Then also a trip to the Maitre 'd of the restaurant is a plan to put your name in for cancelations.
.
On the down side, there are returning cruisers who are not part of these Boards so the survey does not let you know what they are doing.

My TA just email me and we got everything we wanted!
Nassau- Catamaran Snorkel 9:15-1:15
Castaway Cay- extreme getaway and tandem parasailing 3:30-4:30
At sea day- Palo brunch 11:30
DCL's wedding coordinator hasn't booked our Palo dinner yet, but it will be on Castaway Cay day

Anna Claire's bday is March 14, but the cruise near her bday was already booked. Oh well, we will have to celebrate for 2 months I guess. She is sooo excited. Really hoping we can get a FE set up. It was super exciting checking our FE daily. This is a must do!
