putting 2 whole bodied chickens on the rotisary of the bbq (one w/bbq sauce, 1 with italian dressing),
making a macaroni salad the night before
making a "kitchen sink pasta salad" the night before (everything goes in but the kitchen sink salami, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives, onions, different colored bell pepper...)
deviled eggs

that way the day of the 4th we can just kick back and when the chickens are done everythings done!

barkley i like your idea. I'm marinating chicken breast. I like the idea of a pasta salad, deviled eggs.
i'm also thinking about doing some bbq'd chicken pizzas. I'll make the pizza the night before and buy pre-made dough.

we've also done marinated chicken breasts with veggies in foil packets on the bbq. they come out great and the veggies get infused with the marinade as they cook.

We are going to a potluck gathering. The hosts are providing hamburgers and hot dogs. I am bring a Buffalo Chicken Dip. No idea what others are bringing.
