4th of July week or Thanksgiving week??

Just wondering which one you like best and why? We've been on Thanksgiving before and love the Christmas decorations, but we've never been in the summer or for the 4th. Planning on going to DL 3 or 4 days and possibly Universal 1 day. Thanks!

I prefer Thanksgiving. The weather is usually not as hot and although the parks are packed for both holidays I have always found Thanksgiving to be less crowded than in the middle of summer/4th of July. Also, on the actually 4th main street gets congested very early in the day as people stake out a spot for fireworks. I also love the Christmas decorations and it gets me into the holiday season.

We decided on the week of the 4th and we're going to be staying at Candy Cane Inn for the first time! We're going to be there 4 days total with 3 being DL and 1 Universal. Now we need to decide which days DL and which day Universal. Our park days are Mon- Thurs.

Just a heads up on Universal normally thats a very bust time. They also normally do Fireworks for USH only on the 4th of July Weekend-4th of July, nothing has been announced yet but just a heads up if you want to see fireworks at USH they normally only go for a few days before the 4th.
