   I thought Universal studios/IOA were the main stays of this small piece of real estate. So why was the crowd diverted down a small narrow winding path that led to the original steps you used back before city walk existed. We were not allowed to use the normal exit path thru city walk because they had sprawled all of thier c & n all over the open area. Now i am not a fan of city walk and i certainly do not appreciate having to go out of my way as an annual passholder to USF/IOA just so they can continue with the 4th celebration. I hope the wheels that be see this and put city walk in its place. a distant second to USF/IOA when it comes to making the final step of an event come off well. that being the orderly flow of traffic out of the parks thru the widest avenue and city walk can just wait till the flow is done. I mean we are talking a $48 ticket going out of its way for a $8 ticket. seems like a no brainer to me

We were at IOA for the fireworks and exited through the regular exit into City Walk.

We exited thru City Walk as usual also, however it was VERY crowded...shoulder to shoulder, heal to toe people as far as you could see! I'm actually surprised nobody got hurt. I saw several groups of people walking on the 'side rails' of the moving walkways (which thankfully they were smart enough to turn off!)...all it would have taken was a small slip and they would have fallen to the roadway below.

If Universal made a mistake it was not keeping the parks open later. Had they kept USF open until 11:00 and IOA until midnight they could have greatly improved the crowd situation.

Anyway, the fireworks were great and well worth the delay in getting out.

can't wait to see the fireworks at ioa when i go the 7th. I love it when they are open late.:p
