Hi I was wondering if anyone had an ideas for where to celebrate the 4th of July. We don't really want to brave the parks that day and are looking for something else to do instead. We could have a shopping day but it would be nice to see a bit of the celebrations that must be going on. We thought about going to Celebration for the morning parade and then in the evening. Has anyone done this and is it worth doing?
I don't know if the malls have extra sales on that day and we could do that?
Any other ideas would be great! Thanks

Yes the mall would have extra sales on July 4th weekend for sure.

We'll be at the World over the 4th of July, too, and we are planning on a low-key day as well. Right now the plan is for a relaxing day at our resort swimming and resting. We'll probably eat at either 'Ohana or Chef Mickey's for dinner and then we'll watch the fireworks from the Poly beach.

We often visit during July 4th. We generally spend July 3rd at MK to see the fireworks there. We then spend July 4th at Epcot which can absorb the crowds easier. Last year we ate a late dinner at Tokyo Dining and then came out to watch the special Illuminations!
