4350 miles for a Dole Whip - March/April 2013 PTR

Hi everyone!
It’s only 170 days until we go back to the World so thought it was about time to start our PTR. We live in the UK and like just about everyone on the Dis are totally obsessed with all things Disney!
First the introductions:
Me: Gill aged 41. This will be my 3rd trip to WDW, I’ve been to DLRP 5 times. Last trip to WDW was 2011 for my 40th birthday, it was such a magical place to turn 40.
Favourite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favourite characters: Mickey and Minnie after all “it all started with a mouse”
Favourite film: Princess and The Frog
Favourite ride: Toy Story Midway Mania (although I’ve only ever ridden it once!)

DD: Holly, Tigger17, she’ll be helping me write this PRT and I'm sure she’ll let me know if I get anything wrong or miss anything out!! She loves helping to plan trips to Disney. This will be her 2nd trip to WDW and she has been to DLPR 4 times.
Favourite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favourite characters: Tigger
Favourite film: Aristocats
Favourite rides: Big Thunder Mountain and Muppet Vision

we're going for Easter 2013, arrive 29th March and leave 12th April. We're staying in POFQ again which is where we stayed last year and totally loved it.

Yeah a reader!!! Hope you have a good trip when you go. We didn't get to try dole whips last time hence the title (which as my DD has kindly pointed out I forgot to explain! I'm sure she will though!) it was on our to do list but just never happened, this time it will! Happy planning to you too xx

In 2011 we went to WDW i really wanted a dole whip BUT I never got one So this time a dole whip is a must do

We have a few must do's:

BTM in the dark (we did this last time and it was so much fun)
Do TSM more than once
Watch the fireworks form the poly beach
Go to AOA to have a look around (the photos ive seen look so cool!!)
Watch evening movies at the hotel

Im sure there are alot more but i cant remeber them right know

I cant believe we haven't updated for so long we are doing tip and mousekepping envelopes at the moment!! Not long know we will update again soon xx

I've just started my planning folder as well putting all the ADRs in it. The problem with updating on an iPad is not being able to upload photos next time I put the computer on I'll upload photos and our ADR list. We've got 13 ADRs booked and got everything we wanted including Be Our Guest. Only 9 weeks 6 days to go

Hi sorry we havent updated in so long!! we have done a lot of planning since! we have all our ADR's booked!
we have:
1900 park fare breakfast
chef mickeys easter brunch
boma dinner
coral reef dinner
tusker house breakfast
crystal palace breakfast
be our gust dinner
ohana dinner
1900 park fare dinner
akershus breakfast
chef mickeys dinner
tonys dinner
cinderellas royal table dinner

I'm not sure which one we're looking forward to most. we've eaten at CRT, CP and 1900 Park Fare before but everything else is new. i phoned at the 180 +10 mark and got everything we wanted at just about the time we wanted as well give or take 30 minutes.

we are down to 47 days now and we are both beyond excited . I did our ESTA's today and will be sorting out travel insurance tomorrow. Both suitcases are in my bedroom now and have got quite a lot of stuff in, mainly Holly's Disney t-shirts and all our toiletries.

these are our park bags which i love, they are a bit small so i might need to get something else as well

and as promised here is our Disney cat Mushu, he will be staying with my mum and dad whilst we are away and will be spoilt rotten!!

All of our tip and mousekeeping envelopes have been decorated. just need to fill them now Thats all for now but will be back to update nearer the time xx
