43 days to go and dear wife is not good

Hope she gets good news from doctor.

Hope your trip goes well.

Sorry to hear this. Hope the trip goes well, and more importantly that your wife's health improves.

I was afraid to slow my family down, but I sat in the scooter while they went on rides and I used the time to book their next fast passes... ,my daughter got to do non stop fast pass rides in the afternoon bc I had the time to book them while she was on the ride.

So sorry OP . . . . I know well what it feels like to have a trip all planned, and then have health issues put everything in jeopardy. I went through it last summer, literally didn't know until the night before the trip whether I was going to go or not, and then, when I did decide to go, I had no idea whether it was a good idea or not, as my Dr was unable to get tests done that he needed in order to really advise me properly.

To make things worse, our first day in the parks, I got dehydrated, and ended up needing an ambulance. Spent a day and a half in the hospital, but got the tests that I had needed here at home, and in the end, enjoyed the rest of my vacation, knowing that I was ok.

I hope your trip is a little less dramatic than mine was last year, and you are able to get the information you need before you go. Here's hoping for good news from the Dr., and an enjoyable trip for you and DW!

We are in a similar spot. My oldest dd is sick with Lyme Disease. She went last year and used a wheelchair for every other day. This year she will need the chair the entire time. SHe does not have the energy to walk the parks at all. I worry that we should just cancel but I have three other kids who want to go and even my sick dd wants to still go. Using a wheelchair was actually easier than not using one. Then I don't worry about my dd's health or energy levels. She conserves energy. It's so hard though and I wish she could walk the parks like she used to. Overall though the wheel chair is a good solution and there is no better place to be in a wheelchair than Disney. Praying your wife can make it through and you can all have a great time!

So an update is dew , Dear Wife has been in RI hospital for a week now still looking to see what's up. Not the heart maybe Nero related will get MRI tomorrow ( we hope ) then fix her up after that . In time for Disney we hope lol

Thanks for the update and I hope you can get some answers soon. My thoughts and prayers are still with your family.

So DW had to go under the knife to fix bad disk in her neck that we hope is why she could not breath and had to feeling in her arms and legs . We are hoping this will fix her up and we will be on our way to Disney in 28 days yeah

Wow, that sounds really serious. I hope she's doing better soon.

Threads like these remind me that "Life is Good" and to make the most of it. My DH got into a terrible car accident that he walked away from but ended up in the ICU 2 days later from an infected tooth last Nov. I booked a couple of family cruises not long after, grateful to be together happy and healthy.

Yes so we will just postpone this trip for a bit , but the World will be their when she gets better . Thank you all for your thought and Prays

So all the prays are helping people, she feels better today ! And we may just make this trip after all . What a difference in just 24 hours Thank you all keep praying for her . Love the support
